Installing the Software Installing the Software After inserting the CD, a browser will be displayed.

Click INSTALL to begin and the program and all supportingfiles will be installed.

Running the Software For the First TimeRunning the Software For the First Time

To start the software, select START -> PROGRAM ->Transmille PAT – PATDRS Download & Reporting Software.

The software is supplied with an activation code (inside of CD cover) – this should be entered on the screenshown below :

Entering Your Company / User DetailsEntering Your Company / User DetailsWhen the software is run for the first time, it will ask which COM port will be connected to the PAT.

Company details can also be entered, which will be used toprint on the test reports.

Select a COM port using the drop down list

Enter company name/address

Enter up to 2 user names

This information can be edited at any time using the SETUP function.

Enabling the MemoryEnabling the MemoryIf the software is running for the first time, it will alsoask if the memory should be enabled on the PAT :

Click YES to enable memory

Enabling the memory function sets the PAT to a mode which performs the following actions :

• Displays an appliance list at the beginning of a test

• Displays and stores a label number on completion of a test

• Stores test data to memory, ready for download using the software
