stunning plastered conservatory

ceiling if it is not going to insulate the

roof to conform with building

regulation’s standards.

It’s as simple as that!

Your surveyor will explain thoroughly the different processes of an installation from start to finish and show you photos every step of the way on his ipad so that you can see exactly what we do.

The 19 multi-layer Superquilt not only reflects the infra-red radiation in the conservatory back into the room in winter instead of it sailing out through the roof like an invisible chimney but in the summer it acts as a very effective solar over-heating barrier preventing uncomfortable build up of heat in the home. It is also very lightweight at only 880g per m2 so no need to worry about extra weight on the roof.

With our other layers of insulation incorporated into your insulated roof you can expect U values as low as 1.61 w/m2K.

So what do we actually do?

Conservatories are not like other buildings, so it really won’t do to treat them in the same way that you would any other building section of your home. Conservatories are constantly on the move due to the rapid expansion and contraction caused by both interior and exterior temperature changes.

Condensation is a major factor which needs to be carefully considered and compensated for. Fortunately, our installation process takes into account all of these factors. Even the materials that we use are time tested and proven suitable for conservatory use.

No. We don’t need to do anything to the exterior structureand the existing glass or polycarbonate conservatory roof willremain in place.

Virtually none. We carefully follow the contours of your existingconservatory roof.

No. Where necessary, semi- opaque film is applied to a glassroof but this is rarely necessary on a polycarbonate roof.

As the exterior of the conservatory is not being changedplanning permission is not required.

We have skilled teams of fitters and plasterers who willcompletely sheet and protect the work area. Then they will sealthe work area from the rest of your home. At completion, theywill leave your conservatory clean and tidy and remove all wastematerials.

Installations are usually completed within 1- 2 days but verylarge conservatories may take longer. We advise you of theactual time requirement prior to you placing your order.

Covering a clear roof will of course reduce the amount oflight entering the room but since the walls are virtually all glass,there will still be more than ample light. More importantly, theunpleasant glare factor will be eradicated. With a polycarbonateroof, the difference will be even less noticeable and in theevenings it will actually be lighter once painted white.

As stated above, very little will change. We always carefullyfollow the contours of youR existing conservatory roof.

No. As part of the installation we install ventilation gaps abovethe insulation. The insulation barrier is then closed preventingcondensation.
