• Each Task Group will be presenting their work to the TWG.
– The TWG will be asked to decide whether the task groups’ proposals are accepted for inclusion into the CMHP
– Discussion should focus on whether the TWG agrees with the strategies and/or the principles. Key questions include:
• Are these the “right” strategies and/or principles? Is this an appropriate framework?
• Are there any specific strategies that we cannot live with?• Are there others that may be needed?
Presentation of Strategies
![Page 10: Transformation Work Group (TWG) Meeting Presentation (06-16-2006)](https://reader036.fdocuments.us/reader036/viewer/2022081521/546d5909af7959693c8b5e43/html5/thumbnails/10.jpg)
• Each of the task groups developed a set of overarching, or broad-based principles as a framework for developing their specific strategies.
• These will be highlighted by each of the task groups and if approved will guide their work in subsequent years
• Other strategies are specifically geared towards one or more of the outcomes approved at the April 21st TWG meeting
• Each of the Task Groups believes that their work has just begun
• The timelines for developing the first cut were very aggressive. In some cases, there was not enough known to form detailed strategies.

Decision Point• Does the TWG agree that the state should adopt
strategies that will support linked and/or integrated data across systems?
• Does the TWG agree that the state should further explore ways to make data from multiple providers about encounters with individual consumers, available to those consumers and their multiple providers and case managers, "on the ground" in "real time"?

Decision Point• Does the TWG agree that the state should further explore the
feasibility of a Global Consumer Information Center consumer level record for both public and privately funded mental health services?
• Does the TWG agree that the state should further explore the other strategies as proposed by the IT Task Group? Are there any strategies proposed that the TWG would prefer we not pursue at this time? Are there other IT strategies that should be explored?
• Does the TWG want a more detailed IT implementation proposal -- with resource estimates and an implementation timeline? When do they need that?
