Training on Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram organized by CCRH

Introduction A five day training program was organized by Central
Council for Research in Homoeopathy on Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram from 24th to 28th June 2015
The training program was inaugurated by Dr Ajay Khera, Deputy Commissioner(Child Health & Immunization), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India
Dr Arun Singh, National Advisor, RBSK was Guest of Honour
The guests and participants were welcomed by Dr RK Manchanda, Director General, CCRH
A total of 22 participants including General Duty Medical Officers , Research officers and Research fellows took part in the training
Objectives of RBSK Training
Skill building of participants to undertake screening of children for 4D’s (developmental delays, defects, deficiencies and diseases) for Mobile health teams
Development of National Trainers for undertaking training activities in the program on Homoeopathy for healthy child

The participants were given hands on training on various topics like anthropometry and examination of infants and children
Screening tools were discussed in detailA field visit to an Anganwadi Centre in Gijjor,
Goutam Budhh Nagar,UP was undertaken where about 50 local children were screened by the participants
