Introduction
The400VACstationsupplysystemshallbeprovidedwith400VACdistributionboardssuppliedfrom4
(four)setsof11kVgeneratorswitchgearthrough2(two)setsof
11000/400Vdrytypeauxiliary
transformerseach
of
1600kVA
as
per
the
load
calculation
of
the
plant.
The
system
shall
also
be
supplied
fromonesetofdieselgeneratorofsufficientcapacityincaseofblackoutandblackstart.
Thesystemshallbemadeofnonessentialbusandessentialbusconnectedbyabustiebreaker.The
nonessential
bus
with
main
bus
1shall
supply
to
non
essential
loads
and
unit
auxiliary
loads,
while
the
essentialbuswithmainbus2shallsupplytoessentialloadsandunitauxiliaryloadsasbackuptomain
bus1.
Themain400VACdistributionboardsshallbeinstalledindoorin theauxiliaryelectricalroomatelevation245mondownstreamsideofthepowerhouse.

60439andIEC60529.
Thedevicesprovidedwiththeswitchgearassembliesshallincludelowvoltagepoweraircircuitbreakers,
molded
case
circuit
breakers,
busbar,
current
transformers,
voltage
transformers,
meters,
indication
lamps,
relays,controlelementsandassociatedwiringandtestblocks.
Lowvoltagepoweraircircuitbreakersshallbe3poleelectricallyandmechanicallytripfreedrawouttype
andshallbecompletedwithinterpolebarriersforeliminatingallfaultcommunication,arcquenchers,
manualand
electrical
stored
energy
operating
mechanism,
mechanical
position
indicator,
and
shall
be
mountedonadrawoutmechanisminthebreakercompartment.
Allmolded
casecircuitbreakersshallbelocalmanualoperatedfixedtype
andshallhavethermaland
magnetictrippingdevices.
Theremoteelectricallyoperatedcircuitbreakersshallbeequippedwithpushbuttonsforlocalcontrol,andaLocal

Whentheincomingunitisfrombottom,thecableslotisrequiredontheground.
Cabinetsshould
be
installed
on
the
pedestal
which
is
embedded
in
the
concrete
ground.
The
horizontal
error
of
the pedestalis1mm/permeter.
Cabinetsshouldbeconnectedwiththepedestal(withweldingorscrews).Thegroundingisreliable.
Thelengthofweldinglineinfrontandbackofeverycabinetis
20mm.Allweldinglineshouldbecoatedwith
antisepsis.Whenfixingcabinetsonthepedestal(withweldingorscrews),Thehorizontalerrorofthepedestalis
1mm/permeter.Thegroundingisreliable.Allweldinglinesarecoatedwithantisepsis.Toensurethe
bendingradiusofcablesandenoughspace,suggesttheminheightofcablechannelis500mm.

the
general
faults
Whenhavingfaults,youmusttaketheemergencystepatthefirsttimeonsite.Recordthephenomenon.
Thegeneralfaultscanbeeliminatedasfollowingsteps:
No. Fault Possible reason Solution
1Main circuit breaker can not switch on
There is no control voltage. Switch on control power breaker.
Voltage inspector does not work.Adjust or replace the voltage inspector
Under voltage release has not been energized/ damaged. Check the wiring or replace the coil.
2Feeder circuit breaker is tripping.
The setting value of overload/short is too low. Reset the overload/short setting value
Load or its wiring has mistake. Eliminate loading faults.
The breakers capacity is too small. Increase the switchs capacity
3 Theres fog/ taste. Connection area of conductor didnt tighten. Stop the power supply and tighten the connection points.
4 Capacitor unit cabinet does not work.No load and the current is too small.
See manuals of components for other faults.Use again when having more loading.

When normal running, it should be light for the white indicator lights of control bar. When normal running, all doors

Iftheequipmentshaveproblemsduringrunning,ortermmaintenanceandinspection,cutpowerfor
runningequipment.Afterfinishingmaintenance,givepoweragain.
The following points should be attended.
Inspectthoroughlyforthismaintenance.Theinspectionwhetherperfectreally.
Inspectthesiteofmaintenance,mainincomingcircuitbreakermustinconnectionposition.Powerstorageof
breakeris
ok.
Beforestartinguprunningagain,itmustbeensuredthatallbreakerloadhasntfaults.Theisolationofcables
is10M.Energizingbreakeriscorrespondingwithcableload.
Resumetostartupreferringtotherequirementsinfirsttime.
