Main ongoing activities at MS level and at EU level in relation to undergraduate, graduate, post-graduate education, life-long training, reconversion schemes, professional training. In particular, a broad, but relevant overview of MS activities should be available.

Needs and gaps, in particular main barriers or bottlenecks for the different industrial sectors and their markets

This section should list the main barriers or bottlenecks for the different profiles of workforces that hinder the achievement of the technology goals within the SET-Plan vision.

Recommendations at EU and MS level within specific target dates

This final section should outline recommendations for action at EU and MS level in relation to undergraduate, graduate, post-graduate education, life-long training, reconversion schemes, professional training schemes, market uptake measures, etc.

GEOELEC project

is a pan-European project on geothermal electricity, supported by the Intelligent Energy Europe programme of the EU.

The objective of the GEOELEC project is to convince decision-makers about

the potential of geothermal electricity in Europe, to stimulate banks and investors in financing geothermal power projects and finally, to attract key potential investors such as oil and gas companies and electrical utilities to invest in geothermal power.
