William C Becker has beenactive in the training professionfor over 24 years in Safety,HazMat, and Heavy EquipmentTraining in the US ArmyOperations and Safety. He pos-

sess over 15 years as the Operations Trainer at the1st Battalion 144th Field Artillery. Responsibilitiesincluded preparation/implementation of theBattalions Training, Injury & Illness Prevention,Hazardous Materials, and Inspections SafetyPrograms. Mr. Becker worked closely with ArmySafety Officers as a Safety and Weapons, HeavyEquipment Trainer. He graduated from the ArmyAdvance “Train the Trainer” Program and taughtHeavy Equipment, Weapons, IED to 1500 deployingsoldiers. He also specialized in teaching HeavyVehicle, Wheeled and Track, Confined Space Entryand NBC Respiratory Protection. Mr. Becker wasdeployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom as a Sr. Leaderfor 65 Soldiers. Mr. Becker was fully responsible fordeveloping, implementing and executing all newsafety courses for the operation. Bo Bradley has been in the construction industry as a safetyprofessional for over 18 years.She is currently the Director ofSafety, Health & RegulatoryServices with the AGC of

Mr. Brown has been activelyinvolved in various hazardousmaterials and safety trainingover the last 38 years, coordi-nating and directing regional andnational environmental programs

since 1966. He is currently a State of CaliforniaAccredited Instructor for Lead and Asbestos trainingas well as performing training for many other haz-ardous material and safety related disciplines. Johnhas developed numerous lead & asbestos trainingcourses and manuals, gaining approval through theState of CA. He has had extensive experience inboth the private and the public sectors in hazardousmaterials and safety training. John is currently work-ing with the American Red Cross and the OSHATraining Institute, and is retired military, with over 22years in the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Navy. Tom Burleson is President of Burleson ConstructionCompany, a third-generation, 60-year old firm inJohnson City, Tennessee. An AGC activist, Tom ispast Chairman of the Construction EducationCommittee of the Associated General Contractors ofAmerica. He is also a Life Director of AGC ofAmerica, a past President of AGC of Tennes-see, anda member of the Consulting Constructors Counciland the AGC of America Education and ResearchFoundation. Tom recently retired from the U.S. ArmyReserve Corps of Engineers with the rank of coloneland served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and DesertStorm. Tracing family history in con-struction over two and a halfcenturies, Charles W. Cook hassuccessfully combined a careerfurthering the family construc-tion business with an avocation

in communications, media, and teaching. Charlie ispresident of R. S. Cook and Associates, Inc., inPhiladelphia, Pennsylvania. Their primary work hasbeen commercial and industrial renovations andadditions. An active member of the ConstructionEducation Committee of the Associated GeneralContractors of America, Charlie is currently servingas chairman of the continuing EducationSubcommittee. Drake Muat and his partnerstarted Global EnvironmentalNetwork, Inc. in 1992 as ahealth and safety training organ-ization. He has grown the com-pany into a multi million dollar
