Traditional fairy tales and traditional sport in
the kindergarten
Playing is one of the most comprehensive ways to experience art during early childhood.
Acting on parts of fairy tales is a significant part of our life, pedagogical situations and other activities.
Playing with puppets is among children’s favourite games. While playing, young actors master their
practical skills and develop their artistic flair.
Through these puppets, our little artists not only reproduce the relations originating in the play, but they also address these emotions to their
peers.
The teacher leads the play. He/She also guides the children when choosing roles and helps them
build the imaginary gaming environment.
An important part of the preparation ofthe game is to provide the necessaryattributes – stage, curtains, props, etc.
When recreating the story "Grandpa’s Mitten" the children worked on their own to design some
parts of the decor.
They chose the “petrushki” puppets ontheir own as well as divided themselvesin groups of “artists” and “viewers”.
This way socializing via theatre games acquires new dimensions. A different type of relationship is being born: artists not only play but they also endeavour affection in the audience: they try to
make them happy or sad.
And the audience, on the other hand, is drawn into the play presented by their friends and wants to express their satisfaction with the
performance.
One way to maintain children’s creative interest alive, is via preliminary aesthetic design of the
interior.
The most favorite games are the plays where kidsperform live. Here you can see how we presentedthe fairy tale about Hitar Petar.
In this type of games, the child gets intocharacter and apprehends its actions and moralnature. Then, the child acts on behalf of thecharacter and lately trasnfers some parts of thisbehavior in its real-life relationships with people.
This way, games enrich the spiritual world of the children. It helps them communicate with
others, seek friendship and create good.
Sport is another activity in preschool which is a permanent part of the
educational process.
Sport helps kids to grow healthy and strong. Itdevelops physical qualities as speed, strength, agility.
Through sports activities, children develop their skills to work in a team.
Gymnastics is the favorite sport
in our kindergarten.
Our gymnasts easily cope with physical exercises and complex choreography.
Smiling and skillful, they handle different tools like
bar, ball, hoop and pompons.
Therefore, our participation in sport
competitions
is always crowned with success and
awards.
