Trades Industry
• 4 weeks• Required to enroll in the Intermediate
Construction Trades (ICT), Highway/Heavy Construction (HHC) or Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC) trades programs
Introductory Craft Skills (Core)
• Basic Safety, OSHA-10, CPR and First Aid
• Introduction to Construction Math, Hand and Power Tools, Construction Drawings and Materials Handling
• Basic Rigging (ropes, chains, hoists, loaders, and cranes)
• Basic Communication and Employability Skills
Introductory Crafts Skills Curriculum
• 12 weeks + 4-week Core Curriculum (16 weeks total)

• Orientation to the trade, building materials, hand and power tools

ICT Curriculum

• Lifting requirement range of 5 to 40 lbs
• Must pass a drug screen to participate in the Trades Internship

Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC)• 18 years of age or older• Minimum score of 56% (69% or higher
preferred) on the Bennett Mechanical Comprehension Test, Form S, during one-week Orientation to program
