Register as a tradeKorea member for your successful e-business. You can register as a seller to sell your products.

At tradeKorea.com, it is always free to register an account and use the website.

To register as a seller, you must provide basic information about yourself and your company. Also, to make your company more credible to trading pa

rtners, you can make use of various certification services offered by tradeKorea.com.

You can register an account by clicking [Join Free]at the top of any page on tradeKorea.com.

To register a seller account, please select [Seller] where it says “ I am here as. ”

If you want to purchase products you need, please register as [Buyer]. At tradeKorea.com, we offer various free services to help buyers find products they need.

You can register an account by clicking [Join Free] at the top of any page on tradeKorea.com.

To register a buyer account, please select [Buyer] where it says "I am here as."

You can register on tradeKorea.com as both a buyer and a seller. At tradeKorea.com, we provide support for all of our members’ trading act

ivities, and if you register as a seller and buyer (Both) then you can receive the benefits of all of our services.

Also, if you selected either seller or buyer when you first signed up, you can change to both later.

You can register an account by clicking [Join Free]at the top of any page on tradeKorea.com.

To register a buyer and seller account, please select [Both] where it says "I am here as."

And if you chose buyer or seller when you first signed up, you can change to [Both].

1.1.4 Verify E-mailAddress

tradeKorea.com does not allow just anyone to register an account. To improve business reliability, tradeKorea verifies its members’ e-mail ad

dresses to provide reliability to both buyers and sellers.

Once all information needed for member registration has been entered, a [verification request e-mail] will be automatically generated and sent to th

e registered e-mail address you used to sign up.

▶ ▶ The [verification request e-mail] sent to your registered e-mail address w

ill contain a [verify my e-mail] link that will complete your registration on

ce you click on it.

▼ If you do not receive the [verification request e-mail], please try to log in.

When you attempt to log in, a new request will be generated when you click th

e [resend] button.

Based on your activity level, tradeKorea.com

will classify you as a Trader, Gold Trader, or Gold Plus Trader. Gold Traders and Gold Plus Traders have priority listing in search results, are h

ighlighted in newsletters, and can receive other special benefits.

Your classification is re-evaluated every six months based on your activity index.

The various membership type criteria are as follows.

1. Gold Plus Trader

Gold Plus Traders are the most active 0.1% of members. Gold Plus Traders are awarded a double [Gold Medal],receive priority listing in search results, and can display their Double [Gold Medal]on their product pages and member profiles, boosting their credibility.

2. Gold Trader

Gold Traders are active 0.5% of members.

Gold Traders are awarded a double [Gold Medal],receive priority listing in search results, and can display their double

[Gold Medal]on their product pages and member profiles, boosting theircredibility.

3. Trader

Regular tradeKorea members include everyone who is not in the top 0.5% of the activity index.

You can achieve Gold Trader and Gold Plus Trader status by being active in product registration, sending & receiving inquiries, an

d other selling & buying activities.



1.2.2Managing Seller Information

To register a product, a seller must provide both basic information and specific company information. Buyers will be able to create inquiries based on the

seller's company information, and seller companies will be able to check the information of products for sale.

Also, company information may be required when registering a product.

ny page on tradeKorea.com, you will be taken t

o a page where you can edit your information.

1.2.3 Managing Buyer Information

Buyers can register only by using basic information.

However, if you add more detailed company information, then you can use more various tradeKorea.com's services.

Go to the [My tradeKorea] page and click [My Accounts] to register additional company information.



1. 2.4 Connecting KITA (Korea International Trade Association) Accounts

If you are a member of both tradeKorea. and KITA (Korea International Trade Association), you can log in easily. U

nder [Profile] management, you can connect to your [kita.net Account].

Go to the [My tradeKorea >My Accounts >Profile] page to connect with your KITA membership.



1.2.5 ConnectingSNS Accounts

If you already have accounts on social networks (Facebook, Twitter, etc.), you can connect them to your tradeKorea.com account.

This enables you to use tradeKorea.com more easily by taking advantage of automatic SNS log-in and re-posting your content to tradeKorea.com. Y

ou can connect your accounts by clicking [SNS Account] under [Profile] management.

You can connect your accounts at the [My tradeKorea > My Accounts > Profile] page.



1.2.6 CancellingYour Account

To register a product, a seller must provide both basic information and specific company information. Buyers will be able to create inquiries based on the

seller's company information, and seller companies will be able to check the information of products for sale.

Also, company information may be required when registering a product.

You can cancel your account by going to the

[My tradeKorea > My Accounts > Profile] pa

ge and clicking the [Cancel My tradeKorea

Account] button.

We would appreciate it if you then

filled out a brief survey to let us know why,

in order for us to improve our services.



1.2.7 BlacklistedAccounts

Blacklisted accounts have been placed on a blacklist by the website administrator due to being used for a high volume of repe ated spam inquiries. O

nce placed on the blacklist, the account cannot be used for any activity on tradeKorea.com.

To have your account removed from the blacklist, you can make a request through the Contact Us page.

AAfter going to the [Supports >Contact Us] page, please select the category [Sign In / Up Problem],

Blacklisted accounts cannot be logged in to, so if you submit a problem with your e-mail address, the

n the administrator will quickly respond to you.

tradeKorea.com provides [Credits] to reward its members, based on their activities.

Credit can be used to apply for various services.

When your detailed information is registered along with your company information, you will receive priority listing in search results.

Please place your company's products into their appropriate categories

Doing so will enable your products to gain exposure on the selected categories.

You can also register keywords related to your company. Your company will show up first in search results by priority if you re

gister many keywords related to your business type.

You can register information that describes your company. tradeKorea.com offers SEO (search engine optimization) services to help our m

embers’ products gain priority exposure not only on tradeKorea.com but also on several major search engines. After entering keywords an

d a title that describe your company’s business, register an introduction to your company and its products to increase chances of high-ran

king exposure in search results.

of your interest at the [My tradeKorea >My Interests] page

Sellers can use the C/L service provided by tradeKorea to promote Seller's products. Up to 2 C/Ls can be created by default, and you can

use Credits to create additional C/Ls.

▶ One product can be connected with one search term.

Occupying a search keyword uses 30 Credits,

and lasts for one week.

To register your company's products, please go to the [My tradeKorea>My Products>Add a New My Product] page.

Once you have entered accurate information on a product, it will receive priority exposure.

After a product is registered, sales can begin once it is approved following an examination. Requests for product approval are automatically sent t

o the tradeKorea.com product management team, which conducts the examination.

Products can be classified as [Ordinary Products (Unit Price not Open)] that do not have clear prices; [ePay Products (Unit Price Open] that have p

rices viewable through KITA ePay service; and [Sample Products] that are for sample sales

The most important thing to do during product registration is to enter a clear product name, relevant categories, and keywords needed for produ

ct searches. By registering categories and keywords connected with a product, that product can receive priority listing in search results.

3. From Product Registration to Removal3.1. ProductRegistrat

3.1.1 New Product Registration (2/2)

When registering a product, please enter SEO (search engine optimization) keywords. SEO is a method for your products to gain exposure in se

arch results on both tradeKorea.com and other global search engines. Please click the right side [?] button for further information.

For direct online e-payments through KITA ePay service, you must enter single-item sale information when registering a product.Once you enter the unit price, minimum order quantity, shipping, and weight (including packaging) information, you can sell your product through the online e-paymentsystem.


3.1.2 How to Gain Priority Listing in Search Results(1/2)

There are several ways to try to gain priority listing in search results for your products.

Enter many keywords related to your products. Well-organized keywords will be effective in gaining priority listing in search results. You can also

achieve priority listing in search results by entering per-product categories on different levels.

When registering product information, you can enter SEO (search engine optimization) keywords to increase the product’s exposure in search r

esults not only on tradeKorea.com but on external sites as well.

Keywords should be words used by many people.

Do not continuously use similar words.

Do not continuously use just one word.

Instead, make sure to change according to the latest trends. (Try making a change every two weeks.)

You can check popular keywords at the [My tradeKorea Homepage] and [Keyword Trends] pages.


▶ Please register your products with KITA e-Pay. You can receive p

riority listing for your products on the tradeKorea.com homepage

▶ Being highly active can earn you Gold Trader or Gold Plus Tra

der status. This will get you the highest listing in search results

. Also, you can use your accumulated Credit to occupy search

keywords. This will allow your items to gain priority Listing in s

earch results for one week.

3.1.2 How to Gain Priority Listing in Search Results(2/2)3. From Product Registration to Removal

If you wish to change a product's information, you can click the [Update] button on the product information page and change the information. O

nce the product information is changed, a re-examination and approval will be necessary before sales can resume. When a product is re- reg

istered, it is automatically sent to the tradeKorea product management team and the examinationprocess for re-approval is initiated.

▶ Once a product's information is changed, it must be re-approved.

▶ You can register a product by using temporary storage. Te

mporary storage is used to delay an approval request in or

der to enter clearer information on a product.

To use temporary storage, ple

ase click [Temporary Save]

in the lower-left corner of the product registration page.

Products in temporary storage can be checked at the

[My tradeKorea > My Product > Manage Temporarily Stored

Products] page.


3.2. Product Editing and Temporary Storage

3.3.1 Product Approval(1/2)

Once you register a new product and click the [Submit] button, a request for approval is automatically sent. I

n your product list, products marked as [Approval Pending] have not yet completed the approval process.

Once product approval is completed, the status will change to [Approved] and the product will appear in tradeKorea.com search results.

- When Information on an Already-Approved Product is Changed

When the information of an already-approved product is edited, [Re-Approval] process is required.Once you edit the product’s information and click the [Submit] button, a request for approval is automatically sent. The product’s status will then be changed from [Approved] to [Pending].

Once a product is registered, it must receive approval by the tradeKorea team before it appears in search results. This is a tradeKorea.com p

olicy to prevent sales of inappropriate products while ensuring high product quality.

A temporarily stored product is a product that has not been fully registered. Once all product information is entered and the [Submit] button is cli

cked, you will move to the [Manage Products] list and an approval request will be automatically sent.

A product for which an approval request has been submitted may be disapproved when the submitted informationdoes not meet the standards.

Once a product is removed, it is permanently deleted and will no longer appear on tradeKorea.com, the online exhibition hall, and on your mi

nisite.

the [Delete] button on the product list or product

description pages.

I f you wish to begin selling the product again, yo

u must re-register and receive approval as if it w

ere a new product.

▶ If you wish to temporarily hide it, it will not appear in sear

tradeKorea offers the KITA ePay service to make it easy for Buyers to purchase samples by credit card. Using the ePay service, i t ’s easy to import an

d export samples with the simple payment system on tradeKorea.com. In order to use the service, simple registration is required. After you register with

the KITA ePay service and register a product, you will be able to export small quantities directly through tradeKorea.

page to find information on the KITA ePay service.

▶ The KITA ePay service is a online payment service that enable

s tradeKorea.com members to easily make transactions with w

orld-wide credit cards at tradeKorea.com.

Join the KITA ePay service to engage in safe trade transactions.

4. Using E-payment Service for Exporting Small Quantities4.1. Online E-payment Products

4.1.2Registering Open-Price Products

As a KITA ePay service member, you can register online e-payment products. At the [My tradeKorea >My Products] page, you may change the inf

ormation on a registered product to an open-price product or enter price information for a new product. You can then sell that product.

▶ If you wish to register a e-payment product, please choose

[ePay Products(Unit Price Open)] under product type.

▶ At the product information page, enter [Payment Information].

Enter unit price of the product. Ch

oose a minimum order quantity. C

hoose a shippingcompany.

Enter the weight (including packaging) of the minimum order quantity.

Once product information is entered, an approval request will be autom

atically sent to the tradeKorea product management team and an inspe

ction for approval will be initiated.

▶ Open-price products that have been approved will

appear on the tradeKorea.com homepage.

▶ Products can be purchased online ontheproduct information page.


4.1.3 Registering a SampleProduct

If you wish to sell a sample product, you may go to the [My tradeKorea >My Products] page and change the information on a registered product to a sa

mple product or register a new sample product.

▶ You must check [Sample Product] afterselecting

[e-Pay Products (Unit Price Open)] under product type.

▶ At the product information page, enter [Payment Information].Enter unit price of the product. Choose a minimum order quantity. Choose a shippingcompany.Enter the weight (including packaging) of the minimum order quantity.

Once product information is entered, an approval request will be automatically sent to the tradeKorea product management team and an inspection for approval will be initiated.

▶ Sample products can be purchased online on the product information page.


4.1.4 Creating a Product for a Specific Buyer

After you complete negotiations following an Inquiry, create a product that can be paid for online. You

may create a product for a Buyer at the [My tradeKorea >My Sales >Manage Price Offer] page.

▶ Enter the product and price information agreed on with the Buyer.

The shipping cost will vary according to the weight and the destinatio

n country, so the price information must be entered after consulting

with the shipping company.(tradeKorea.com is partnered with DHL.)

▶ When negotiation is complete, enter the BuyerID.

The Buyer can pay for the product by logging in to tradeKorea.com

and using the online payment service.

It is possible to sell products made for a specific buyer,

with the price revealed to only that buyer.

At the integrated search menu, set your search criteria as [PRICE], enter your keyword, and click the [Search] button. Yo

After seeing products that have price information in the search results, you can purchase them immediately.

If you want to search for another products, click [Add to Cart] to put the current product in your [Cart] and pay for all products at the same time.

In order to operate your minisite, you must register your company information and apply for a domain. Your minisite can promote your products and co

mpany however you like, and tradeKorea.com provides designs to help you manage it easily.

Go to the [My tradeKorea >My Accounts > Company Information] page and check 'Use sub Domain Minisite URL' at the very bottom.

Your advertising will be most effective when your minisite domain is related to your company name or product name.

You cannot change your domain once it is registered. Please choose carefully.

▶ In order to organize minisite products, you must first create product groups.

Product groups are classified as products [For display main], which can be displayed on the

main page of your minisite, and [For grouping products], which can be displayed under the P

roducts menu.

▶ Please register your products under product groups created by using [For grouping products].Product groups are categorized and displayed under [Category] on the Products page.Product organization for different groups can be freely added or deleted. Deletion means excluding a product from its product group.
