The multi-band OFDM technology addressed the challenges faced by UWB devices and shifted focus away from traditional impulse radio systems.

Multi-banding and OFDM provided spectral flexibility enabling world-wide regulatory compliance.

Time Frequency Coding addressed the issue of wide-band processing while simultaneously enhancing performance.

Innovative signal structure using OFDM, enabled excellent multi-path performance, albeit at a low implementation complexity.
