The Dig to Deck Ramp is Network Rail Approved (PA05/03902) and suitable for use on Rail Track systems. The Ramp is used for entering or exiting the dig and can be de- ployed swiftly and easily in minutes with suitable lifting equip- ment. Before installing the Ramp the access area needs to be prepared and it is recomemended that 2 sleepers are removed and that the ballast is levelled in the bottom of the dig. The Ramp must be aligned parallel to the track and must be seat- ed properly on the end of the rails ensuring at least 200mm of overlap. The Ramp can be used in conjunction with the UTAS RRAP’s ena- bling upto 50 tonne tracked or wheeled vehicles to easily gain rapid access on to the Rail then into the dig whilst providing rail head protection.
