Sweatin Buckets Aquatic fitness was developed by CFL football train-er Bryan Murray in 2001 after suffering a ruptured Achilles tendon. In a nut shell—it is resistance training in waist deep water wearing cross trainer running shoes.
With no swimming involved its an inclusive program which features a great cardio vascular workout, with many types of strength and con-ditioning routines. It promotes both fast twitch and strength devel-opment and is amazing rehabilitation for old or new injuries including pre and post surgery.
Being in waist deep water allows for more buoyancy of the body, which in turn takes pressure off your joins, assisting you to strength-en and rehabilitate your ligaments, cartilage and tendons. Promotes strong muscle growth and great cardio vascular gains.
Program runs Mondays 7-8pm and Wednesday's 8-9pm
