Please place your waste and recycling bin on the verge by 6am on the days as outlined on this map.

If your bin is:

Missed - please call Suez on 1300 633 633 and the driver will collect your bin.

Missing - Please call Cottesloe Police on 13 14 44 to report that your bin is missing or stolen. You will be given a report number which we require to issue a new bin to your property.

Damaged - Please call the Town on 9285 4300.

What must NOT be placed in the Greens Bin?

• Glass, metal, plastic, paper, chemicals, oil

• Organic food waste

• Batteries, phones, e-waste, light globes

• Anything that should go in the general bin

• Anything that can go in the recycling bin

What can be placed in the Greens Bin?

• Grass clippings

• Plants and weeds

• Small branches and prunings

• Twigs, bark and leaves

• Cutflowers

New Green Waste Bin in ClaremontFrom January 2020, the Town of Claremont will introduce a green waste bin for eligible properties.

Properties greater than 400m2 will automatically be given a third, 240L lime-lidded green waste bin. Other properties can opt-in for the service via an online request form that will be located on the Town’s website from September 2019.

Strata-managed multiple dwelling sites will be contacted independently to discussgreenwasterequirementsandhowtheservicecanbenefitthem.

More information will be provided through the rest of this year as the Town transitions to this new waste management system.

Verge Green Waste Collection

• Up to one cubic metre of green waste (equivalent of one 6’x4’ trailer load)

• Green waste - branches, cuttings and leaves (Max length 1.5 metres & max diameter 150mm)

• Bag leaves and small vegetation

The collection will not remove

• Large tree trunks or stumps

• Branches over 1.5 metres in length

• Leaves in plastic bags

• Branches over 200mm in diameter

• Bulk or household waste
