Town of Banff “ROAM” Transit System

ROAM was launched on June 2, 2008
The ROAM Hybrid Bus Fleet
Consists of two Routes all year long with the doubling up of the major route in the summer months
Bus Specifications
4 new NOVA LFS HeV 40ft diesel hybrid-electric transit buses
Buses have low-floor accessible Cummins ISL 280 HP engines Allison EP 40 system drive train and disk ABS
W/Traction control brakes. Feature novel exterior and interior environmental
messaging such as interior panels and exterior bus wraps
Each bus is equipped with a bicycle rack and wheelchair ramp
