FLC meetings: Best ways to share best practices
• What roles do you see the FLC national “face to face” meeting versus a virtual meeting playing in the future of our Federal TT profession?
Metrics
• What does each agency consider T2 that should be measured (and what’s not T2)? – is it just licenses, CRADAs, WFO or are there other
nontraditional TT activities that should be measured and reported on?
Communications
• What are the most effective ways (you, as T2 professional) have found to deliver content to your internal Lab/Agency management
• What are the most effective ways (you, as T2 professional) have found to deliver content to industry (that results in outcomes)?
FLC Resources • What tools do you need as a T2 professional
to be more effective in your job? – Training formats (webinars, in-person, online
courses)– FLC web tools for the TT professional
• What specifically would you like to see FLC do that we currently do not do to assist you in doing your job as a T2 professional?
Software Licensing
• What are your experiences in licensing software (given the Defense Authorization Bill of 2013/2014 for DoD)?
Extramural Inventions
• How do agencies treat/manage inventions arising from contracts (procurements, R & D, etc) or grants? Does your T2 office get involved at all?
