ABOUT DHAKA THE CAPITAL CITY:
The capital of Bangladesh is Dhaka with its exciting history and rich
culture. Known the world over as the city of mosques and muslin. It has

Star Mosque
Star mosque locally known as Tara Masjid. The mosque has ornate
designs and is decorated with motifs of blue stars. It was built in the first
half of the 19th Century.

The seven Domed Mosque
In 1680 the period of Subader Shaestah khan, this mosque was built.

Lalbagh Fort
Lalbagh Fort or Fort Aurangabad, an incomplete Mughal palace fortress at
Dhaka on the river Buriganga in the southwestern part of the old city. The
construction of the fort was commenced in 1678 AD by prince Muhammad
