Since our organization has such a long name, we will refer to it on this website tour as “The ODMRDD,” and you will know that it means the Ohio Department of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities.

Our Website Mission ……is to create and maintain an easy-to-use and accessible site that is a primary vehicle for the ODMRDD to communicate effectively with each site user.

About UsAbout Us is simply that. Information about the ODMRDD that explains our Mission, our Vision, and our Values. Basically, it’s what we do, and why we do it.

ContactsContacts, next to “About Us”, has information about ODMRDD Regional Consultants, a List of all 88 Ohio County Boards of MRDD, a Provider Search function that helps you learn about service providers, and information about ODMRDD Staff.

Sign OnThe ‘Sign-On’ feature next to Contacts, is a ‘secure area’ that is used by people who have a need for specialized information, and are requesting or have received a password to access it.

Site MapThe Site Map is where you go to see a list of what’s in each area that you click on from the homepage. It’s like a floor plan of what’s underneath each section. If you glide your cursor over the homepage, you will see each area light up, and your cursor will change to a ‘hand’ symbol. Then click, and it will open for you.

Search…is the last area at the top of the homepage. Search takes you to the www.ohio.gov website and allows you to search for information from any state agency, including ODMRDD.

This includes Medication Administration; Health & Safety Alerts; Information Notices; and Major Unusual Incidents or MUIs – which is any alleged, suspected, or actual occurrence that negatively affects an individual’s health and safety. You’ll also find the Abuser Registry here, and much more.
