Project Objectives
Totem Lake Apartments is a proposed six story residential building located on the corner o f Totem Lake Blvd and NE 128th St. This project is designed to serve the expanding Totem Lake neighborhood population b y creating a residential community of high qua lity enduring design and increased density. The project wi ll b e responsive to the unique needs of To tem Lake residents and wil l enhance the neighborhood w ith excellent wa lk-ability and an enriched streetscape design .
The projec t si te area is 82,772 SF. The build ing is comprised of five wood frame levels over one level of above grade concrete podium. Three addit ional le v els of semi-below grade concrete structure are provided for parking. The main entrance located on NE 128th St. w ill provide direct entry into the building, providing an increased pedestrian activity. The p roject wil l have approximately 340 apartment units with approximately 479 parking sta lls.
Through its scale, modulation and materia l selection. the proposed build ing w il l reflect characteristics o f the area 's recent deve lopments, offering a vibrant. enduring asset to the co mmunity.
