Chairman’s Weekend Away 31st August to 2nd September

This Year’s Chairman’s Weekend Away will be a trip to Toowoomba via Peaks Crossing, staying at the

Comfort Inn Toowoomba and experiencing some historic tours in the area. The cost will be $530 a double

MONTHLY MEETING JAGUAR DRIVERS’ CLUB OF QUEENSLAND INC. GOLD COAST REGISTER

HELD AT HINTERLAND HOTEL NERANG QLD. – 25th June 2018

The meeting was opened at 7.02pm by the Chairman, Ray Howlett, who warmly welcomed all members. Apologies: Caroline Coulston, Lyn & West Evers, May Gaudion, Joan Gracie, Kevin Gray, Dick & Lorraine Kennedy, Richard & Caroline Mercer and David & Ruth Willmott. Minutes of Previous Meeting: Taken as read. There was no business arising from the Minutes.

Library/PR Nothing to Report. Past Events: Steve Duncan gave an account of the June mid-week lunch at St. Bernards Hotel, Mt. Tamborine. A great turn-out enjoyed a lovely drive and a nice lunch, with lots of laughs, and a couple of great dogs to boot! Thanks to Caroline Coulston for organising this lovely day! The monthly run was put together by Robin Kup-Ferroth and featured a great run (lots of roundabouts) to Saltwater Park, Pacific Pines for morning tea, followed by a character-building drive (toilet breaks and car breaks) to our lunch venue, the Tallai Golf Club. Again, lots of people, lots of food (heaps), and lots of laughs! Thank you, Robin, for this enjoyable outing. John Porter briefly outlined an extra event, run by Bruce Lynton and entitled “Art of Performance Tour”.

Future Events: “Mid-Week Run” (4 July) – BYO morning tea, and lunch at Flutterbies, Tyalgum.
