1. Plug in your TopStyler. You will see a “Red” statusindicatorlight.

2. PresstheOrangePowerButtontoturntheheaterON.Youwill seea“Blinking Green”status indicator lightastheheaterbeginsheatingyourC-Shells(approx.6Minutes).

3. Whenthestatusindicatorlightturns“Solid Green” yourC-Shellsareheatedandreadyforuse.

4. To turnyourTopStylerOFF,press theOrangePowerButtonagain.Thestatusindicatorlightwillturn“Red” andtheheaterswillturnoff.

• If your style requiresmore than10C-Shells, simplyputanotherC-Shellon theThermalBaseasyou re-moveeachhotone.ThenewC-Shellsneedonly4½minutestoheat.

• Startwithclean,dryanddetangledhair.Normalstyl-ingproductscanbeusedbeforeandaftertosetyourstyle.

• Sectionyourhairandwrapeachsection intoclean,smoothcurlsaroundyourfinger(s)oraroundthesplithandleofyourEZWrapStylingComb.(seeencloseddiagramorusermanualformoredetailedinstructions.)

• PlaceC-Shelloverthefingercurlyoujustformed.

• OnceyourC-Shellsareinplaceonyoursectionedcurls,allowthemtocool for1 to10minutes,de-pendingupondesiredresult.Usemorecoolingtimefor longer hold.Aswith any hot styling tool, thestylewillchangedependingonhowlongyouleavetheC-Shellsin.Havefunandexperiment.Youcandonowrong.

• OncetheC-Shellshavecooledasmuchasyoulike,removethemfromyoursectionsandallowhairtodrop.Yourhaircanthenbeloosenedwithfingersfor a gorgeous natural look, or brushed out formoreglamorousbody.

1. Section and Spray

• Spray(optional):To help set the style,thesectionofhaircanbespritzedwithathermal setting spray or professional quality finishing spraybeforeaddingaC-Shell.

• UsingyourEZWrapComb,detangleallhairthengatherasectionofhairwithfingersorwiththesplithandleofthecomb.Thesectioncanvaryinsizedependingonthelookyouwant.Smaller sections give you a more defined look,whilelarger sections give you a more natural loose wave look.

2. Wrap

• Haircanbewrappedintoacurlusingeitherthe split handle of the EZ Wrap Styling Comb or fingers.

3. Pinch and Slide

• Hold the curl in place then slide your fingers out.• Oncethesectionisfullywrappedintoafingercurlwiththefingersorcomb,pinch the curl with thumb and forefinger of your free hand making sure tokeepholdoftheendsofthehair.

4. Clip

• Incorrect placementofaC-Shell.Donot“crush”thecurl.

• Whileholding thecurlyou justmade,clip theC-Shellontoyourformedcurl.As the C-Shell is ap-plied, you can pull your thumb and forefinger out.

“The C-Shells are hot! Use caution when handling. As with any hot tool there is risk of burn. If you ex-perience discomfort, remove C-Shell immediately.“

5. Cool and Remove

• Dependingon theamountofdefinitionyouwant,andyourhair type,keeptheC-Shellsinplaceonyourfingercurlfor1-10 minutes. The longer you allow the C-Shells to cool, the longer your style will hold.

• AllowC-Shellstocoolinplaceontheheadtosetthestyle.ThisisanexampleofhowtheC-Shellscanbeplacedonthehead.Place them wherever you want curl, more body and volume.

Finishing Tips

• Foramoreformallook,gentlybrushthecurlsoutwithabrush.

• You can easily finish the curls by gently runningyourfingersthroughthecurls.

Finger Wraps

• “2 Finger Wrap” or “3 Finger Wrap” – This is awrap using 2 or 3 fingers. The result is a loose, bouncy curl that can also be loosened into a fun, natural wave.

• “1 Finger Wrap”–Thiswrapisachievedbyloose-lywrapping the hair around the index finger (oranyfingerdependingonwhatsizecurlyouwant).The result is similar to a curl you would get with a small curling iron,butwithoutthebarrelmarksandcreases.

• “1 or 2 Finger Twist”–Twistthesectionofhairthenwrapitaround1or2fingers.The result is an edgy, contemporary look.
