LETTER TO A FRIEND

 

.............Thanks for inviting me to stay with you when I visit your country next month.

I'm not sure how to get to your apartment from the airport. Could you write back giving me some basic instructions? What would be the best method of transport for me? I'd prefer one that isn't tooexpensive!

Just one other thing - what will the weather be like when I get there? (Just so I'll know what clothes to pack!) .........

Our language school is looking for a person to help organise a Film Club for students of English. Our Film Club will meet twice a week to watch a film in

English followed by a discussion of the film.

Do you have some knowledge of English? Do you like working with groups of people?

Are you interested in films?

If you think you would be a suitable person to organise our Film Club then we would like to hear from you. Please send a letter to the school owner saying why you are suitable for the job.

Read the Grupin advertisement for the special deal and the notes you have made. Then write an email to Groupin, explaining what happened and what you would like them to do.
