Plan:There has been some controversy in that past few years that questions whether any of Nissin’s products are healthy. In this product redesign, the goal is to show that it not only can be a healthy food but make it a healthier product to fit an audience of young adults in college or living on their own.
The Plan:
Intro:When Top Ramen is mentioned, it is automatically thought of as the food of starving college students. It could be more than just known for being the food that is eaten when a col-lege student doesn’t have anything else to eat or any money to buy anything.
History: Momofuku Ando established Nissin Food Products Co. of Japan in 1958. In 1970, Nissin establishes Nissin Foods (USA) Co., Inc. in Gardena, California. The Top Ramen brand is imported from Japan, introducing instant ramen noodles to US consumers. A year later, Nissin invented Cup Noodle that made it possible to package, prepare and serve noodles all in the same container and is now known as “Cup o’ noodles”. By 1972, Top Ramen was produced in the United States. It is now 2015 and a little company started in Japan is expanded with many different types of ramen and chow mein products of different flavors all over the US continent as well as in Canada.

Flat Package
1. Boil 2 cups of water in a saucepan, add noodles and cook 3 minutes. Stirrying occasionally.
2. Turn off heat, add contents of seasoning package. Stir well for 1 min.
3. Serve when the seasoning is fully disolved. Makes 2, 8 oz. servings.

INGREDIENTS2 -3 c chopped cooked chicken breasts1 head cabbage, shredded or chopped1 bunch green onion, finely chopped2 (2.5 OZ) packages slivered almonds3 tbs sunflower seeds2 packages Top Ramen noodles3 tbs oil
Dressing1 Chicken Seasoning packet
2 tsp salt1 tsp pepper
1. �repare dressing and set aside.2. Smash noodles of Top Ramen and brown over medium heat in 3 tbs oil.3. Once noodles have begun to slightly brown, add slivered almonds. Once a dark golden brown, remove from heat and set aside.�. Combine cabbage, green onions, chicken and sunflower seeds in a large bowl. �dd the ramen�almond mi�ture and stir well.5. �dd dressing and stir to coat.
