PREFACE

An industrial activity plays a crucial role for the economic growth

for developing countries like India. Thus, it can be said that

industry are very important for the progress of developing

countries.

The chief objective of practical training is to get an outlook of

what we study theoretically in the classroom. It also helps to

develop the awareness about business environment and business

practice among the student. Here, is the report of the training

undertaken at TOPLAND ENGINS PVT LTD at Rajkot for the

period of 15 days. The main concentration is on the topic of

Marketing & Industrial Environment.

This report contains all the necessary details of the company,

which is acquired by me during training. Thus, we have made best

HISTORY

Topland engines pvt ltd a wide4ly held private listed company of

India was established in 1970.

Topland group of companies engaged in manufacturing and

marketing activities for more than three decades is today a leading

manufactures of agricultural and industrial products.

And this years industry establish and produce engines, pump sets,

generator and other like oil engines, machines etc., and also 700 of

variety per day.

ORGANISATION STRUCTURE

Organization structure is teamwork of the formal relationship that

has been established. The purpose of the structure is to assist in

regulating and directing the efforts of organization so that they are

co-ordinate and consistent with organization and objectives.

Organization structure of the co. shows the interrelationship

between the companys staff. It shows a clear cut line of authority

responsibility and accountability.

PERSONNEL DEPARTMENT

The personnel manager has the ultimate responsibility for all

personal and labor policies. A staff unit is expected to give advice,

provide service, maintain control ad perform administrative tasks.

In a service capacity personal manager cafeteria recreational

program and offers counseling and service to the employees. As a

control expert, he handles problem of wage and salary

administration. He ahs to keep all personal records, look after

safety matters and problems of employee discipline.

FINANCE DEPARTMENT

In TOPLAND ENGINS PVT LTD finance department is handled

by finance manager. He has to look all matter relating finance

such as capital structure, capitalization management of fixed asset,

working capital management, receivable management and cash and

bank balance management etc. this unit performs these activities

very soundly. Due to sound finance management this unit has

achieved great success.
