but very much hyped as well. Analysts suggest

that cloud will take over the major IT services

decrease.

more possible.

2. Data Centers Getting Warm

The maximum temperature limit set by

ASHRAE is being constantly pushed by

entrepreneurs.

Temperatures in data center will inch

higher, but not considerably overall.

Many data center are still using the short-

sighted approach mostly driven by CapEx

but TCO is still the best way of decisions

making.

This year TCO will continue to be ignored by

the data center operators and developers.

With newer designs and price driven market,

data Centers are now becoming more

commercialized. Commoditization of data

center services will continue and possibly

accelerate.

Last year, data center power usage density

was limited and way below expectations.

This year they will remain low.

with more talk and little action.

will stay aside.

Advances Traction

Newer means of power channels, on site

power production and other forms of

transactive energy will become more

mitigated and accepted.

There have been series of panel discussions

Owners should focus on expanding their data

center business and let the numbers take

care of themselves.
