Sundays and public holidaysThere are no services on Sundays and public holidays.

Travel tips1. Visit www.qconnect.qld.gov.au to use the

qconnect journey planner and access timetable information.

2. Plan to arrive at least five minutes prior to departure.

3. Check the approaching bus is the service you require by looking at the destination sign.

4. At designated bus stops, signal the driver clearly by placing your hand out as the bus approaches. Keep your arm extended until the driver indicates.

5. If you have a concession card, have it ready to show the driver.

6. Ask for a ticket by destination or by the number of zones you will cross.

7. Once you’ve boarded just sit back and enjoy the ride. If you need to stand, securely hold on to a handle.

8. Ring the stop bell at least 100 metres before your stop. If you are unsure where you should get off, ask the driver when you are boarding the bus and remain seated until the bus stops.

9. If crossing the road after alighting, wait for the bus to move away and check the road is clear.

Food and drinkPlease refrain from eating or drinking on all qconnect bus services.

Travelling with a pramWhen travelling during peak hours, or if the wheelchair space is occupied, prams and strollers will need to be stored in the luggage racks. At all other times you can travel with the child seated in the pram.

Safety and securityKeep your personal property with you at all times while travelling. Make sure your bag is closed and your valuables secured. Kan-go service travels a fixed route between the City Centre and Range shops via St Vincent’s Hospital, then picks up and drops off pre-booked passengers in Roam Zone A (dark grey) as close to your door as we Kan-go. If you live in Roam Zone B (dark blue), the call centre will advise you of the closest pick-up/drop off point

when you call to book your travel. Kan-go will pick you up or drop you off at this nominated point.This point can be changed by phoning the call centre 1800 231 248. Travel in the Kan-go roam zone is hourly: Monday to Friday 7.45 am to 5.45 pm Saturdays 9.45 am to 1.45 pm.

Kan-go Roam Zone - To book your travel on the Kan-go, you must first register by phoning the Call Centre on 1800 231 248 (FREE CALL) at least one hour before travel and quote the trip number.The yellow route operates school days only.
