Session Objectives• Launch the …. Spotlighting process.• Raise awareness and commitment to the Spotlight process• Make sure that strategic stakeholders understand why and who decided to Spotlight the topic in this area• Confirm, duration, scope and reporting• Look at membership of project board/review panel/commissioners (and relationship to SSP)• Identify of project team members during analysis phase - may change during planning and delivery phases• Explore possible timetable - is there a shared view (risks and benefits)?• Try and find out which bits of topic are hardest and why? Where would strategic stakeholders most like to

see activity/solutions?• Surface hopes and concerns about the process – dispel myths and address issues head on• Make sure that strategic stakeholders know what is going to happen next
