TOP FEED ROLLS MOUNTED DIRECTLY ABOVE BOTTOM RO LLS Ensures maximum traction and troub le f ree feeding on difficult and thin material.

BOTTOM FEED ROLLS RISE AND FALL Rolls rise and fa ll separately or in conjunction with bedp lates. This aids feeding and allows for quicker adjustments. Pu sh feeding of wet material is made much eas ier.

INTERCHANGEABLE LARGE DIAMETER (250 MM) SECTIONAL FEEDROLLS The large diameter feed rolls are f itted for better tracti on. The profi le and sections can be quick ly changed to suit timber cond iti ons and to give longer life.

COMPLETELY CHIP FREE The bottom feedworks are completely open so the problem of chip build-up is eliminated. The drive to the feedworks is by four massive spline shafts coup led to a gear train w hi ch is tota ll y enclosed in an oil bath and requi res virtually no maintenance.

Positive Timber Control RADIAL LINK PRESSURE PADS. For a better finish, w ith easier feeding , and they elim inate breakages. ADJUSTABLE RADIAL LINK CHIPBREAKERS These are spring loaded . They accommodate cutt ing c irc les from minimum to maximum with total safety. Sectiona l shoes ensure that the correct pressure is app lied to a given width of timber for better feeding , optimum finish and the elimination of bounce.

SIDE H EAD STAGGER 305 mm stagger is f itted for better contro l if side head moulding is required . The unbroken table aids qu icker sett ing up as no bridging pieces are needed.

OUTFEED WORKS Outfeed works are used when feed ing at high speeds using thin or difficult timber. They considerab ly reduce the chance of board override and break up.

HYDRAULIC DRIVE The main feed and outfeed works are dr iven by individua l hydraulic motors. Excellent for high feed speeds. Enables easy control of infinitely var iab le feed allovy ing optim um feed speed to be se lected for best fin ish . Multi feed works can be easi ly syncronised .

JOINTERS FOR A FIRST CLASS FINISH Vertical and horizonta l stra ight or profile jointers ca n be quickly f itted to give a much improved finish . Built - in manual or hydraulic jointers are avai labl e for jointing on the horizontal heads when mach ine is ru nning, sav ing down time.

PNEUMATIC PRESSURES Pneumatic roller pressures over first bottom head and pneumatic top link pad pressures will g ive positive control at fast feed speeds.

·lNIQUE UNIVERSAL HEAD .Jperational through 360°. It is qu ickly and accurately set and it gives a better and more uniform finish in a rebate.

INEXPENSIVE THROATING HEAD Specifical ly designed for producing an undercut. It elim in ates second operation normally carried out on vertical sp indl e shaper, giving economy and saving va lu ab le floor space.

POWERFUL MULTI-SLITTING HEAD A powerful 20 hp motor, or an even bigger hp motor as a free standing unit, can be fitted to the second bottom head enabling a multi-slitting saw to be used. Productivity is increased as multip le runs can be made. In addition with Planer TCT saws a good enough fin ish for g lued joints is obta ined so that planing is therefore not required on another mac hine, a saving in cost.

HEAVY DUTY SPINDLES For high feed speeds heavy duty spind les for the horizontal heads can be fitted for increased robustness and rigidity and to cope with heavy cuts.
