Tony Maingi's Career Plan

I plan to gain a lot from the experience here with the huge pool of cultural diversity and etc. I wish to share all what I know, help in creating a positive working environment and be part of the new things going on in that environment. Like many people everywhere I want to be a part of something big, something unimaginable, that which exceeds. University Years I do hope to be attending a top English University, if not the University of Nairobi, Kenya or probably an Ivy League University in America, with the most open approach to everything that concerns education wherever I go. I shall take a banking/finance course as my major and most likely culinary arts as my minors. In taking these courses I do hope to grow both individually and socially. I want to be able to balance between two different types of things. From Rags… Just to start of I would start as a cashier, probably just to get the hang of it. As a first job I will most likely still be in college, I’m thinking of working for a small investment firm. I could start by first learning all what the people in the firm know then share some of my ideas. In the meantime I also am thinking of doing art related things like carpentry and culinary arts.  To Development… Working in that small investment firm will give me just a glimpse of what I done in other places. I hope to gain a lot of experience through the short period of time. I will try to position myself in the sales and marketing team. This will get me closer to putting some of my ideas out there. Everybody has to at least begin from some place we take steps in everything we do, our targets are usually our beginnings. Most people usually lower the calibre of what they are to do, which puts things at risk, I think if we should do something we should have a passion for it. To Riches By this time I hope to have graduated to the top of the group/ decision makers etc. I hope to be a part of building the lives of millions of people, grow the banks customer base, make that difference, make the bank so much more than it is. I hope that I will indeed have established an investment group and a charity organisation. Most people do things on extremes they either work too much or have fun too much, both sides have their flaws but I believe that people should commit themselves into doing both thus the saying “too much work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.” I will move to Mombasa, Kenya to a nice beach house and live with my family. have a lot of aspiration

as to what I want to

become, I currently attend an international

school in Seoul, Korea. I plan to gain a lot

from the experience here with the huge pool of

cultural diversity and etc. I wish to share all what

I know, help in creating a positive working

environment and be part of the new things going

on in that environment. Like many people

everywhere I want to be a part of something big,

something unimaginable, that which exceeds.

University Years

I do hope to be attending a top English

University, if not the University of Nairobi,

Kenya or probably an Ivy League University in

America, with the most open approach to

everything that concerns education wherever I

go. I shall take a banking/finance course as my

major and most likely culinary arts as my

minors. In taking these courses I do hope to growboth individually and socially. I want to be able

to balance between two different types of things.

From Rags…

Just to start of I would start as a cashier,

probably just to get the hang of it. As a first job I

will most likely still be in college, I’m thinking

of working for a small investment firm. I could

start by first learning all what the people in the

firm know then share some of my ideas. In the

meantime I also am thinking of doing art related

things like carpentry and culinary arts.

To Development…

Working in that small investment firm will give

me just a glimpse of what I done in other places.I hope to gain a lot of experience through the

short period of time. I will try to position myself

in the sales and marketing team. This will get me

closer to putting some of my ideas out there.

Everybody has to at least begin from some place

we take steps in everything we do, our targets are

usually our beginnings. Most people usually

lower the calibre of what they are to do, which

puts things at risk, I think if we should do

something we should have a passion for it.

To Riches

By this time I hope to have graduated to the topof the group/ decision makers etc. I hope to be a

part of building the lives of millions of people,

grow the banks customer base, make that

difference, make the bank so much more than it

is. I hope that I will indeed have established an

investment group and a charity organisation.

Most people do things on extremes they either

work too much or have fun too much, both sides

have their flaws but I believe that people should

commit themselves into doing both thus the

saying “too much work and no play makes Jack

a dull boy.” I will move to Mombasa, Kenya to a

nice beach house and live with my family.
