Level 1: One-week training course on basics of coating inspection emphasizing hands-on training, instruments, responsibilities, basic equipment, and technologies with hands-on and written examinations

Level 2: Advanced one-week training course emphasizing specialty technologies—including marine—with written examinations

Level 3: Oral examination to test knowledge across many industries and technologies
