• Tom is a blue-grey curious tomcat.• Jerry is a small ,light-brown ,smart house

mouse.• Both characters play tricks on one another.• Right now turn on your TV and watch the

hilarious show. • Now I will tell you about each character!

Tom

• Tom is a blue-grey tomcat.• “Tom" is a generic name for a male cat or

tomcat.• Despite being very energetic and determined,

Tom is no match for Jerry's brains and wits.• Tom is very quick-tempered and thin-skinned.• Jerry usually emerges triumphant, while Tom

is shown as the loser.

Jerry

• Jerry is the smart and is the one with the wits.• Jerry also possesses surprising strength for his

size.• Jerry barely speaks and only squeaks. • Jerry is independent.• Jerry is a small ,brown house mouse who

always teases Tom.• Jerry likes cheese as usual mice do.

Spike and Tyke

• Spike is a gray ,bulldog that appears in many episodes of Tom and Jerry.

• He hates Tom because in the episodes that Spike appears, Tom is chasing Jerry around but ends up giving Spike or his son (Tyke) a bad day.

• Whenever Spike tells Tom not to do a certain thing, Jerry does his best to get Tom in trouble.
