!!Sport fishermen know that Lake Erie fishing is about as good as it gets. There is an opportunity to be challenged by many species of fish, most notably the walleye, which is known for the fight it can put up. The lake also offers many other freshwater fish, including steelhead trout and large and smallmouth bass. The best fishing takes place in July and August, when the lake is normally calm.

The Toledo Museum of Art's collection of more than 30,000 works of art ranks among the finest in the world.  The Art Museum’s permanent collection features a wide range of genres from African Art to contemporary American Art. The museum is particularly known for its collection of 20th century art glass and 19th and 20th century American and European paintings.
