Info (968) : Master Administrator authorization is required toperform the following functions:

If a user does not have a sufficient Purchasing Limit, the order will not be sent directly to the distributor. Instead, the order will be placed in a “Pending” state and a notification email will be sent to an administrator that does have a sufficient Purchasing Limit. The Purchaser can then sign on to the system and review/approve the order and send it to the distributor. Users must also be authorized for locations in order to approve/send orders for that location. If an order spans multiple locations, users must be authorized for all locations on the order.

Individual Profile

Data Entry Tags are additional information that can be associated with each issue or order item or asset transaction.

Primary tags can be linked to pre-configured values that are managed by selecting the relevant choice from the Settings menu.

Regular tags (such as Tag A, Tag B etc) are free form entry and, if enabled, can be entered while creating an issue or order transaction to associate any relevant data with the transaction.

Enter the tag labels in singular form, for example Employee or Cost Center. The system will pluralize where required.

Each tag can be enabled for use with issue or order items, asset tracking or both.

The default settings can be changed on a per-user basis by editing the User settings

The access level for a user can be based on individually assigned settings (the default) or can be based on the settings associated with one or more profiles. If the user settings are to be based on profile settings then a Profile tab will be displayed and all fields on all other tabs will be disabled, given the user settings will be determined based on the amalgamation of settings assigned to the selected profile(s).If the user settings are to be profile-based, and more than one profile is assigned to the user, conflicts can potentially occur. One of the assigned profiles may grant the user access to a function while another assigned profile may deny it. These sorts of conflicts will be resolved based on the setting on the Customer Settings page indicating how multiple user profiles are to be combined.

Creating profile permission settings is similar but not identical to creating User settings, please follow the instructions.
