What is TOEIC?The Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) is the world's leading English test, with more than five million tests administered each year. TOEIC assesses English language competency in a business context and is used by companies around the world to determine English communication skills. The TOEIC test measures listening and reading (grammar, vocabulary, collocation and reading) ability and takes two hours to complete.

What is TOEIC Plus?TOEIC Plus is a unique course that aims to improve students’ English language competency in a business and workplace context.

Students are taken through an intensive 5 or 10-week program. TOEIC+ 5 week course consists of the TOEIC exam skills component only. TOEIC+ 10 week course is business focused and consists of 2 components: TOEIC Exam Skills and Business English Skills, the course prepares students not only with testing taking skills and strategies for the TOEIC examination, but also with improved communicative skills in speaking and writing.

Students study an extensive range of grammar structures and vocabulary, complete written assignments and deliver oral presentations throughout the course. At the end of this course, students will demonstrate the necessary skills to take the TOEIC exam and to communicate in the everyday work place.

I chose TOEIC + because I wanted a change from General English. I like that we have one teacher and the same classmates for the whole course. The teacher has good examples and knows what each student needs. I am a lawyer in Brazil and I want to study International Law in Australia when my English is good enough. TOEIC+....only at Langports!

Iʼve been at Langports for a long time now – seven months. Now I am studying in the EAP class. If I didnʼt study TOEIC Plus, I donʼt think I would have been ready for EAP. My English improved a lot in TOEIC +. I wanted to review grammar and to study hard. We did mock tests in the class and I could see my TOEIC score going up. I think itʼs a great idea to study with the same students for 10 weeks, because we were all really good friends. The teacher is funny and really easy to understand.
