• TOEDC- Test of English Daily Conversation
Course objective
• Students will be able to identify daily English conversation such as time, people, location and topics, and know how to make the best response.
Students’ background
• 20 non-English major freshmen
• Finished the daily conversation lesson already.
• Most of them graduated from vocational high schools.
• Two-hour English listening classes per week for 18 weeks.
Test itemsTime: 2 mins for introduction. 12 mins for the test.

• Short Conversations for 4
• Sentence Writing for 4

Scoring
• Question-Response 40 points-each question for 4 points.
• Short Conversations 28 Points-each question for 7 points. • Sentence Writing 32 Points-each question for 8 points.
Score range• Scores around 80: are usually able to
understand the details of spoken and extended English. Toeic scores is around 400.
• Scores around 60: may be able to get the general idea from the context once the vocabulary is not difficult. Toeic score is around 300.
• Scores around 40: need much more help in their listening comprehension .Toeic score is around 200.
