• Through patience a ruler can be persuaded, and a gentle tongue can break a bone.

Gentleness Accompanies Other
Virtues of Great Strength
•Ephesians 4:2 -- Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
•1 Timothy 3:2-3 -- Now the overseer must be above reproach, the husband of but one wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money.
Gentleness Indicates Our Spirits
Belong To God and Not The World

Gentleness and Rejoicing Lead to Peace
”Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be
evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving,
present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all
understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:4-7
“Only the weak are cruel.
Gentleness can only be expected
from the strong.”
