Check for Understanding

• Fire and IceSome say the world will end in fire,Some say in ice. From what I've tasted of desireI hold with those who favour fire. But if it had to perish twice,I think I know enough of hateTo say that for destruction iceIs also greatAnd would suffice.• - Robert Frost

Check for Understanding

A Time to TalkWhen a friend calls to me from the roadAnd slows his horse to a meaning walk,I don't stand still and look aroundOn all the hills I haven't hoed,And shout from where I am, 'What is it?'No, not as there is a time talk.I thrust my hoe in the mellow ground,Blade-end up and five feet tall,And plod: I go up to the stone wallFor a friendly visit.- Robert Frost
