INTRODUCTION

This Extension is generally used to display products list with countdown timer. You can also

display products with slider using widget and pre defined code. This module is very easy to

use. You have to select your timer date and time and products which are in the deal. Just

copy and paste code anywhere for display deal products.

Enabled /Disabled the module from admin.

Create multiple deals and able to display multiple times in anywhere in your

store.

Supported multiple store view and customer groups.

Able to set dynamic label and deal description.

Manage product listing with different option like enable slider, display add to

buttons, pagination tools.

Option for choose timer format.

Create widgets for display specific deal in content or in sidebars.

Different templates for list, slider and sidebar.

Supported responsive layout.




CONFIGURATION SETTINGS

Go to admin → STORES → Configuration → MAGEBEES → Today’s Deal Products You can enable or disable this module from configuration.




MANAGE TODAY’S DEAL PRODUCTS

Add New Deal:

Go to admin → MARKETING → Promotions → MageBees Today’s Deal Products

Click on “Add New Deal”. You will get the following screen.




General Tab:

Title: You can set title or name for your deal

Description: Add description of the deal in short or short summary of deal. It

is not mandatory.

Status: Select status of your deal. (Active/Inactive)

Timer Format: You can display timer by two types.

Based on From and To Date: Timer count is displayed between

from and to date

24 hours: Timer count is reset in every 24 hours from “from

date” till to date.

From Date: Choose from date and time for when you want to start the deal.




To Date: Choose to date and time for specifying expiry date and time of your

deal.

Customer Groups: You can choose your customer groups in which your deal

displays.

Store View: You can choose store view in which your deal will be displayed.




Product Conditions:

Under “Create Conditions for Deal Products” the statement has two bold links, Which when tapped, display the options for that part of the statement.

Tap the ALL link, and choose either “ALL” or “ANY”.

Tap the TRUE link, and choose either “TRUE” or “FALSE”.

You can create different conditions by changing the combination of these values.

Tap the Add ( ) button at the beginning of the next line.

In the list under Product Attribute, choose the attribute that you want to use

as the basis of the condition.

To add another line to the statement, tap the Add ( ) button, and choose one of

the following:

Then, repeat the process until the condition is complete. If at any time you want

to delete part of the statement, tap the Delete ( ) button at the end of the

line.




Layout Options:

Display Product’s Price: Choose “Yes” for display price of the products in deal

products list.

Display Add to Cart: Choose “Yes” for display “Add to Cart” button in deal

products list.

Display Add to Compare: Choose “Yes” for display “Add to Compare” in deal

products list.

Display Add to Wishlist: Choose “Yes” for display “Add to Wishlist” in deal

products list.

Display Out of Stock: Choose “Yes” for display Out of Stock products in

products list.

Display Pager: Choose “Yes” for display pagination.

Set Number of Products per Page: If Display Pager option is “Yes” then

specify number for how many products you want to display per page.




Set Total Number of Products for display: Limit total number of products for

display in deal products list. If you want to display all selected products then

leave blank this field or set 0(zero) in it.

Enable Slider: Choose “Yes” for display deal products in slider.

Enable Auto Scroll: Choose “Yes” auto slide products list slider on some

interval.

Display Navigation Arrows: Choose “Yes” for display arrows for navigate left

or right.




HOW TO DISPLAY TODAY’S DEAL PRODUCTS LIST ON FRONTEND?

Using Predefined Code:

Go to admin → MAGEBEES → Today’s Deal Products → Manage Today’s Deal

Products >> Edit any Deal. Find “Use Code Inserts” Tab.

Template Tag: If you want to put today’s deal products in any CMS page, block at that time you

can use this code. Once you put this code, it will show under that particular CMS Page.




XML Code: Suppose you want to use XML Tag auto generated code of today’s deal products, copy

XML Tag auto generated code and put it in your Theme XML layout Files [app/

design/frontend/<Your package>/<Your theme>/<Your Module>/layout/].

Call via Frontend Template File: If you want to set today’s deal products in your template

file [.phtml] you need to just paste this auto generated code at any part of your template files.




Using Widget:

Go to admin → CONTENT → Widgets

Click on “Add Widget”. You will get the following screen.

Select “Magebees::Today Deal Products Widget” from type dropdown. For “Design

Theme” select “Your Package/Your Theme” and click on “Continue”.




Set Storefront Properties for widget like Widget Title, Assign to Store views, Sort Order.

For the “Display on” select the pages, products or categories in which you want to

display. Now select the “Container”. You can display this widget in main content area or

in sidebars.




HOW TODAY’S DEAL PRODUCTS DISPLAY ON FRONTEND?




FAQ

Q-1: I have Installed Today’s Deal Products Extension. I got following error. “There has been an error processing your request”. “Please upgrade your database: Run bin/magento setup:upgrade”.

Run “php bin/magento setup:upgrade” command to your terminal or command

prompt. Please see installation steps for that.

Q-2: I am getting error in console for not found js, How to solve this problem?

Go to admin >> SYSTEM >> Cache Management.

Click on Flush JavaScript/Css Cache and Flush Static Files Cache Button Refresh the page in Frontend.

Q-3: Deal is not displaying as per my current system date & time.

This happens due to different time-zone in your magento store. If you want to set

same date and time then please set same time-zone as original website having.

You can set time-zone from >> admin >> STORES >> CONFIGURATION >> GENERAL

>> GENERAL TAB >> Locale Options.
