Today we are going to Autograph for a family art

workshop.

Autograph is a gallery. A gallery is a place where art hangs

on walls for everyone to see.

In the family art workshop I can do drawing, painting,

photography and modelling with my family.

Social Story

I will travel to Autograph, the street and building looks

like this.

The outside of the building will have the word

Autograph on it.

I will find the entrance to the gallery by following the

arrows.

The reception of the gallery looks like this. 

A friendly person will be sat at a desk with a computer

to help me with anything I need.

There might be other families in the reception too.

When I arrive, I will go through an automatic door.

The art workshop will take place in a room called the

studio.

This is what I will see when I look through the door to

the studio.

There will be paint, paper, plasticene and pens to use.

I will meet Ali and Katriona who can show me around

the studio and help me at the art workshop.

My parent/s can join in too.

There will also be other parents and children taking part

in the art workshop. 

In the studio there will also be a projection and a green

screen.

I can join in with whatever I feel like doing.

There will be plenty of time to try different things.

I am allowed to play and explore in the art workshop.

When the workshop is finished, I will be given a smiley

face sticker.

With my parent/s I will go out through the reception

and exit the gallery from the same door we came in.

I will make my way home.
