Day 1 and 2 - USA to the Holy Land Your spiritual pilgrimage begins as you depart the USA on an internationalflight. You will be welcomed to the Holy Land by our airport representa-tive and transferred to your hotel in Tiberias for dinner and yourovernight stay.

Day 3 - The Galilee With Bible in hand, cross the waters of the Sea of Galilee aboard a boattraveling to Capernaum, the center of Jesus’ ministry in Galilee. Hereyou will see the synagogue remains where Jesus preached about His com-ing Kingdom and remember the miracles He worked there (Matt. 4:13,23). Travel now to Bethsaida (et-Tell), the city of apostles Peter, Andrewand Philip, where Jesus fed the multitude with loaves and fishes, and healeda blind man (John 1:44, 12:21; Lk. 9:10; Mk. 8:22-26). Pass by ancientChorazim, listed as a "city of woe" (Matt. 11:21, 23), en route to theMount of Beatitudes, where Jesus declared Kingdom blessings to thecrowds that followed (Matt. 5-7). Visit Caesarea Philippi and Banias'"gates of hell," where Jesus took His disciples and Peter made his greatconfession, "Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God" (Matt. 16:16).

Day 4 – Megiddo, Mt. Carmel, Caesarea, Tiberias Follow the old caravan route through the Plain of Jezreel, site of Reve-lation’s Armageddon Battle (Rev. 16:16, 19:11-21), to Tel Megiddo where20 different cities lie superimposed upon each other. Then ascend Mt.Carmel, where Elijah defeated the prophets of Baal (I Kings 18). Visitthe Roman Hippodrome, Aqueduct, and Theatre at Caesarea -- a cen-ter of the early Christians. Here Cornelius became the first Gentile convertto the new faith (Acts 10) and, years later, Paul was imprisoned beforebeing taken to Rome for Trial. Back in Tiberias we’ll head to Yardenit, apicturesque baptism site on the Jordan River, and hold a baptism serviceat that historic river.

Day 5 – Nazareth, Samaria and Jacob's Well Today, visit Nazareth, the boyhood home of Jesus (Matthew 2:23), andsee Cana, city of Christ's first miracle (John 2). You’ll then go to modernday Nablus (ancient Shechem) and Jacob's well, where Christ met theSamaritan woman who stirred a city with her amazing witness (John 4).See Mt. Ebal and Mt. Gerizim, where the Israelites recited the blessingsand curses of the Law (Josh. 8:33-35). Continue to Samaria, capital ofthe Northern Kingdom and home of Ahab, the wicked king, and his wife,Jezebel, who promoted the worship of Baal. You’ll pass Tel Dothan,thought to be the place where Joseph found his brothers with their flocks(Gen. 37:13-17). Now, travel on to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight ac-commodations.

Day 6 - Jericho, Qumran, and Masada Visit Jericho, the oldest known inhabited city in the world. View the ruinsof the ancient city conquered by Joshua (Josh. 6:1, 2, 20). From Jerichoyou can see the traditional site of Jesus’ Mt. of Temptation and theJudean wilderness (Luke 4:1-13). Journey to Qumran and view Cave #4,which contained the greatest quantity of the Dead Sea Scrolls, verifyingthe Old Testament text we have today. Going south, tour Masada andthe remains of the palace of King Herod the Great. Celebrated as a na-tional shrine, at this site 960 Jewish rebels and their families resisted Rome,even to their deaths by mass suicide in AD 73. Journeying back toJerusalem, we’ll stop for a quick dip in the salt and mineral laden DeadSea, the lowest body of water on earth and site of the infamous Sodom& Gomorrah.

Day 7 – Jerusalem, Bethlehem At Mount Moriah, you’ll ascend the Temple Mount, site of Israel’s for-mer Temple location and its hottest piece of real estate, to see the al-AqsaMosque and the Dome of the Rock, noticing also the nearby Dome

of the Tablets and the Spirits. Continue to Mount Zion and proceedto the Upper Room, as we remember the Lord’s Last Supper (John 13).Not far away, explore the House of the High Priest Caiaphas, at theChurch of St. Peter in Gallicantu (“the Rooster’s crow,” Mk. 14:30),where Jesus was tried and kept overnight (Matt. 26:57- 65; Ps. 88). VisitBethlehem’s cave, site of Jesus’ birth, and the church constructed on thatlocation (Lk. 2:1-7). View the Shepherds’ Field, where the Good Newswas first heralded by angels announcing Christ’s birth (Luke 2:8-14).

Day 8 – Jerusalem On the Mount of Olives, visit the city of Bethany and explore the Tombof Lazarus (John 11). Stand on the western slope of this mount to enjoy aremarkable view of the "Golden City" of Jerusalem. Enter the Garden ofGethsemane. Here, Jesus prayed in anguish the evening before His cruci-fixion (Mark 14:32-42). Also from the Mount of Olives, the ascension ofJesus to Heaven would later occur (Acts 1:9-12). Back in the Old City, visitthe “Wailing Wall” (Western Wall) on the western side of the Temple Mountalong the Valley of the Cheesemakers. Then descend the Kidron Valley tothe Gihon Spring, the ancient water source of the city of Jerusalem, andsee the entrance to Hezekiah’s Tunnel which runs from the spring to thePool of Siloam, where Jesus healed the blind man (John 9:6, 7).

Day 9 – Jerusalem Tour the Old City of Jerusalem along the excavated Cardo, main streetof the Old City from antiquity. Visit the Southern Wall Excavationsand the Teaching Steps. View the Pool of Bethesda, site of a Sabbathmiracle (John 5:1-31). See Herod’s Antonia Fortress, where Jesus wasbrought before Pontius Pilate (Lk. 23:1-11). Walk the Via Dolorosa, "theWay of the Cross,” to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Finally, visitthe Garden Tomb and nearby Golgotha (“the Place of the Skull”). Sensethe reality of the empty tomb’s testimony to Jesus’ Resurrection: “Heis not here: for He is risen!” At this quiet garden location, you’ll share inan unforgettable communion service (John 19:17-20; Matt. 28:6).
