PRESENTATION in “INDONESIA NATIONAL TRACER STUDY NETWORK”

PRELIMINARY

Tracer Study is an effort to search or trace tracking

of graduates conducted by university to know the

outcome of graduates as a form of transition from

University to the world of work.

The study is expected to provide a description of how

to the process of searching the first job, employment

waiting period, the employment situation and the

perceived competence of graduates in the working

world.

By implementing a tracer study, Muhammadiyah

University of Ponorogo able to know the output of

education provided, thus able to gave a self-

assessment of the learning process has been

implemented.

CONCLUSION

1. Participation graduates Tracer Study 2013 for

activities in 2015 amounted to 50.3 %

2. Nearly all (84. %) graduates have worked and

partially (45%) has started looking for a job before

graduation

3. There is still a gap between the contribution of

university to the competence of graduate after

graduation

4. Tracer Study is very helpful University to know the

graduate transition from education to the world of

work that needs to be improved further to promoting

the activities of this tracer study to prospective

graduates
