A good omen for Georgia Medicaid waiver plan?Ohio program that gave insurance to thousands of low-income patients helped them improve on health measures and also produced unexpectedly low costs, according to a study published Tuesday. Those findings may have a significant impact in Georgia. State officials are considering a proposal from Grady Health System in Atlanta to extend coverage to uninsured Georgians through a special Medicaid “waiver.’’ Grady officials say the waiver program would be modeled after the Cleveland MetroHealth Care Plus program. The House having voted to ban the display of Confederate flags at historic federal cemeteries in the Deep South is the equivalent of robbing dead Confederate soldiers of their patriot status, condemning their memories forever in absentia and even desecrating their graves.It is akin to ruthlessly tearing out pages from the history book of time; bequeathing an unforgivable denial to up and coming generations born with an unalienable right to explore every era of their nation’s past.Banning the display of Confederate flags on the final resting places of Confederate soldiers is like plunging a rusty sword into the hearts of the great great grandchildren who remember their fallen with pride.Ruthless, vote-pandering politicians of the day have proven they will exploit anything even all of life’s memories, a century after death:“The House has voted to ban the display of Confederate flags at historic federal cemeteries in the deep South. The cemeteries affected are the Andersonville and Vicksburg cemeteries in Georgia and Mississippi. “Black Confederate Soldiers included men like Amos Rucker who fought alongside his Southern Comrades and upon his death in 1905 was buried with full honors with his Confederate gray uniform and casket draped with the Confederate Battle flag. His long missing grave marker at Atlanta’s Southview Cemetery was remarked in 2006 by the Sons of Confederate Veterans. (Calvin E. Back to the future! Real-life hoverboard breaks record

A hoverboard rider recently soared into Guinness World Records after flying a record distance on the futuristic, flying skateboard.

Catalin Alexandru Duru, the inventor of the prototype hoverboard, traveled the length of two-and-a-half football fields (about 905 feet) to achieve the world record title before landing gently in the sparkling water of Quebec’s Lake Ouareau. Duru reached a height of 16.4 feet, but the flying board is allegedly capable of much

greater altitudes, said Duru, who told Guinness World Records that his machine could reach “scary heights.”

“The prototype can be used anywhere but is usually tested over water because of how dangerously high it can fly (which is ironic considering that the movie joked that it can’t),” Duru wrote in a description of a YouTube video of the hoverboard’s record-breaking flight. Martha’s Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients 1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chilis 1 large bag of shredded hashbrowns ( I use just shy of 32 oz bag), thawed enough to stir 1 Tablespoon dried onion 1 medium container (16 ounces) cottage cheese 2 cups grated chedder cheese 2 cups cubed ham or cooked sausage (pick you favorite, we like sausage) 12 eggs

Instructions1.Preaheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine everything but the eggs in a large bowl and pour mixture into a greased 9x13 pan. 2.Beat eggs and pour over the mixture. Bake at 350 uncovered for 1 hour or until set and slightly brown on top. It can be refrigerated overnight before cooking in the morning. Serves 16. 3.*This can also be made ahead and frozen (raw) and brought out for guests. When frozen cook for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. 1st hour covered 2nd hour uncovered.
