IFE 2019Festival of Food & Drink
A huge number of industry professionals, associations, federations, societies and institutes were present at IFE 2017, many of which held networking events, dinners, awards, AGM’s and much more. At IFE 2019 we want to celebrate this coming together of industry by hosting and supporting even more industry events.
Tasting Trends
Tomorrow’s food & drink trends and innovations will be addressed in the existing Talking Trends seminar theatre. For 2019, we will be bringing those trends to life on Tasting Trends, our interactive live kitchen.
Ambassador Programme
In order to ensure that we continue to deliver a leading event that serves the best interests of both buyers and suppliers, we have assembled a group of industry professionals to support us in the curation and evolution of the event.
* Mintel Specialist Food & Drink retails – UK – March 2017
Frozen Food The UK frozen category is currently worth £8bn a year with forecasts predicting the category will see continued growth in the coming years to surpass £10bn. With the category undergoing somewhat of a resurgence, led by our longstanding partners, The British Frozen Food Federation, IFE has reintroduced this category to the show, enabling exhibitors to showcase their very newest and most innovative frozen products.
International Gourmet The specialist retail market is estimated to be valued at £14bn by 2021*. Combine this with food & drink imports totalling close to half of the total UK market and an insatiable desire from consumers to try new and exciting food from around the world and it is no surprise that International Gourmet is the latest category to be showcased at IFE.

What the Industry Says
“IFE is an excellent platform for a versatile
company like ours, as it attracts visitors from every food sector.
We saw a strong visitor attendance from important and upcoming export
markets, which – in light of Brexit – cannot be unwelcome for players
in the British food sector.”
JAN ROBIJNS, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
MANAGER, DONANTANONIO LTD.
“We had a very good event
with well organised staff. It was very nice to have the team members coming over to check if our requirements
were met.”TEGGIE PHILLIPS, PARTNER,
RAGINIS MAURITIAN CURRY

“IFE 2017 has been a great
opportunity for us to present in the UK. The reaction from
the market has been very positive, and we are already developing new commercial relationships
and leads. We decided to book a larger and central
location for 2019.“CRISTIAN CZAR, UK DISTRIBUTOR,
BEEBAD ENERGY DRINK
“IFE was absolutely mind blowing for us! We
launched only 3 months before the show and met several major
UK and EU retailers. Meetings followed and only 6 months later we
are launching nationwide into our first UK supermarket. This wouldn’t have
happened without IFE’s power of attraction for buyers and
excellent organisation.”CHARLOTTE DAUZAT,
FOUNDER, GATO & CO
Great launch pad for
our new brands. Terrific contacts made and great opportunities.”
SIMON WALES, OPERATIONS
MANAGER, TRUSTIN

“It’s an ideal opportunity to see new to market products and
get a feel for it. Much more tactical to see and touch the product than reading about
it in the media.”TIM HOWARD, FOOD &
DRINK DEVELOPMENT MANAGER,

to visit – great range of things to see and such a passionate selection of
exhibitors sampling and talking about their products.“
