Wines of the World is a wine-tasting and silent-auction cocktail party that attracts close to 400 attendees annually. Proceeds benefit Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, a member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth). Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital is the advanced-care pediatric facility for the Hudson Valley and Fairfield County, CT, and the only dedicated children’s hospital in the region. We care for the region’s most critically ill and injured children, including those in need of open-heart surgery, complex neurosurgery, life-saving transplants and oncology treatments. We are a local and national leader in pediatric care and an advocate for children’s health and wellness. The hospital’s clinical expertise is matched only by its physical environment, which was developed with input from patients and their families as well as doctors and nurses. This special healing atmosphere puts patients at ease and comforts the entire family.
