Sponsorship and Registration Fees
The total base cost (fee) to attend a Co-op Camp is $725. Participants pay a $250 registration fee and get the remaining $475 fee paid by a local co-operative sponsor. Ask a co-operative in your community (such as a credit union, retail co-op, the Co-operators, a co-operative health clinic, Concentra) or a local community organization or club for sponsorship.
• If you are unable to find a sponsor, don’t worry! Just call our office and we’ll be thrilled to help you!
• If you want to attend camp but are unable to pay some or all of the participant fee, please contact us, we will try to help you find additional sponsorship.
• SCYP has a long-standing tradition of promoting inclusivity and open participation in its programming. Through these values, SCYP staff will actively work with families to welcome and involve all participants interested in joining Co-op Camp.
New for 2018: LevelUp!
LevelUp empowers young people who have recently entered the workforce or will be looking for jobs or to study in post-secondary education within the next few years. Through LevelUp, participants will learn practical life skills such as money and time management, and strengthen their networking, presentation and communication abilities. They’ll attain tools that will help them in everyday life while learning collaboratively from their peers. Feel free to visit http://www.sask.coop/youth/levelup/about-levelup to learn more about LevelUp to see if it is the right fit for you!
Also new in 2018, SCYP is introducing a Refer a Friend Program!
Refer a friend to either Co-op Camp or LevelUp in 2018, and you will receive a $20 gift card of your choice. This gift card will increase in value with the number of participants you refer to the program!
On top of that potentially MASSIVE gift card, for every new participant referred, you will be entered into a draw for a Big Prize Draw (Valued at $500). To participate, make sure your friend fills in your name on the “Referred by,” line in the Your Information Section of the registration form. Visit http://www.sask.coop/youth/co-op-camp/referafriend for more information and program rules.
