Akahi

Akahi Ricardo Salas is a dedicated healing arts expert who has had the privilege to travel around the world and train himself under the able guidance of different spiritual masters and Shamans from across the globe. For 13 years he has made his contributions not only in spiritual sciences but other forms of arts as well. He is the key figure of programs dedi-cated to Breathwork Science, Breatharianism, the Pranic Living Transition and natural intro-spective healing programs. He also has in-depth knowledge of various neuro-cellular inter-connections. These programs have been aired as documentaries both on radio and televi-sion. Such is the impact of his learnings, that doctors across the world have adopted his teaching methods into their own healing practices. Spiritual healers have deeply appreci-ated and adopted his healing style for improved and visible results. He works on the frame-work of Live on Light to bring people closer to improved consciousness, healing and self-love. His aim is to make people aware of their greater self and become aware of the un-tapped frequencies that bring to life healing, new found energy and spiritual resources. He constantly drives his students towards the power of nature and how it is the only thing that drives us in life. He develops new ways to understand the functioning and conditioning of our minds, body and soul and work toward improved healing and balance on the three con-stituents of our existence.

Akahi has been a preacher of arts from the very beginning in life. From very early on in life, he was smitten by the necessity and importance of arts in the growth of an individual and his understanding of life in general. Art is what drew him closer to himself, and it is where he was able to begin his journey of finding out his true self. It opened his understanding of himself and paved the way for him to lead a meaningful and fulfilling life. Art was the very essence of him. Art was his expression of existence and constant learning. It was a way for him that led to understanding of ultimate consciousness.

Owing to his inclination towards various art forms and his exceptional talent in painting, sketching and drawing and way before taking up the role as a full time Pranic Breatharian practitioner, Akahi was a renowned artist who traveled across South America, exhibiting and selling his art. He presented his work in Peru, Ecuador, Brazil, Argentina and Bolivia where he was much appreciated for his exceptional work. Presenting his paintings was not merely a source of income. It was way more than that. It was his way to spread his thoughts, beliefs and ideas. It was his way to get people of similar thought processes to-

gether and find a new meaning in togetherness. Within this, he also found an opportunity to make his art form known and understood by people around the globe.

Everything in Akahi’s life revolved around art and its exploration until one time while travel-ing across South America he came across an ancient culture that was subtle, grounded and preached simplicity. He was instantly attracted to the rituals, beliefs and devotion of the culture and their practice of remaining grounded to the earth, appreciating the life they have been given and how to be immensely thankful for their existence. Suddenly to Akahi, everything made perfect sense. He knew he had found his calling. He was sure of what path to follow. He also gathered that the culture was closely associated with the cosmos and believed in the simple pleasures of life. There, simplicity reigned supreme and this is what got Akahi’s instant attention. It was the moment of trance, the moment of self-actualization, a moment of joy and all peace gathered together. It was a soul stirring experi-ence. Akahi went onto live in small towns and cities of South America where he was driven to live a life of simplicity. He lived with Shamans and Amautas who greatly inspired his thought process. He understood the joy of giving and the kind of satisfaction it brought to a person. He was a changed man. He understood what being selfless meant. He began to appreciate the joy of giving. Life was no more about being self-centric and over-achieving. It all changed to being there for people, sharing knowledge and peace while leading them to simpler satisfying lives. This is exactly where he transformed himself into a giver. He was no more a taker. He knew he had realized his true purpose of giving and helping oth-ers for their betterment.

He had constant interactions with children and worked towards amplifying their creative thought processes while working on the flow of their creative energies. He noticed that slowly and gradually children were better able to express themselves through the use of art and that his efforts were actually taking wings. The children were being lead towards creative consciousness and this reinstated Akahi’s belief in working towards the better-ment of others. He was assured of working towards improving people’s lives and giving them a more meaningful and fulfilling existence. This experience also was a kind of self-exploration for him. He was constantly getting closer to knowing himself, developing his consciousness and making judicious use of his spiritual understanding. Sharing of his art became his biggest strength. This is where he developed the joy that rooted from giving. His spirits were on an all-time high and there was nothing that could hamper his mission to work for people’s betterment. He derived joy from making people aware of their abilities and capabilities. He had found his mission. This was the time where his creative and spiri-tual energies had undergone a perfect blend. His life was heading towards a complete transformation.

Chapter 1: Introduction

Ricardo Akahi’s mission is to drive people towards consciousness and self-healing using the power of breathing. He emphasizes on the power of breathing to accentuate physical healing, self-love, happiness and consciousness. His aim is to educate and inspire human-ity towards the common goal of peaceful and meaningful existence. According to him, con-sciousness is the primary goal we all should strive to achieve. For that, our senses must be in sync and our, minds, body and souls should communicate with each other consis-tently. The most effective and appreciated way to do is to realize the power of breathing, a basic function we all do not generally take into account. Standing by his motto of Heal, Nourish and Live on Light, Akahi is revolutionizing the concept of consciousness across the world, transforming perceptions and changing people’s lives for the better and the best. His ‘Bretharian Awakening’ has been adopted by thousands around the world to seek improved self-loving, appreciation and coming to terms with difficulties of everyday life. They have all been able to find their real selves, have developed positivity and have in-culcated the element of thankfulness in their everyday lives.

This guide will take you across the groundbreaking 8 Day BreatharianProcess that works on various techniques and breathing practices to generate consciousness of mind, body and soul. The program has already made its mark in Netherlands, China, Poland, UK, Bo-livia, France, Croatia, Peru, Israel and the United States and aims to educate thousands of others in different parts of the world.

Mission statement of the program

One is not aware of the infinite possibilities of transformation and enlightenment that come with a human body. When you enter a state of breathlessness, you are completely in a dif-ferent realm of the universe and this is where the learning and self-finding begins. Spiritual-ity has been preached time and again by the greatest leaders of the world whether in the field of science, art or philosophy. It is the spiritual prowess that has brought them so far in life. Buddha preached spirituality like no other and so did Jesus along with Gandhi who ex-isted in our recent times. Spirituality develops your understanding of the human existence and makes it more meaningful and profound. Spirituality is omnipresent. It is present in the air around us. Yes! The air around us captures our senses and can transform the way we reciprocate and respond to our thoughts surroundings to be the best version of ourselves.

Chapter 2: Understanding the terms Physical healing, Self-love, Happiness and Consciousness Development

Physical healing

Physical healing is the healing of every part of the body. It is the absorption of nutrients in the depths of cellular structure of the body. It is where one is aware of the true state of well-being and where the face is able to reflect perfect health and happiness. Physical heal-ing comes with a lot of thought on the nutrition we subject ourselves to. The need for nutri-tion from heavy foods has been generated by out surroundings and nowhere does it reflect in our practices of awakening deeper consciousness. Physical healing is also the preven-tion of surroundings that hamper our physical and mental state of being and the ones where the mind and body have difference in alignment. Physical healing is attainment of divinity in the body and the process of treating the body right in all ways possible. Physical healing is being aware of your existence and appreciating your body that houses your mind. For effective physical healing, one is supposed to bring together the mind, body and soul in perfect alignment such that all three are benefitted mutually from each other.

Physical healing is also a lot more about development of consciousness and understand-ing the energy of the universe and embracing it in its most refined forms thus allowing one self to experience what is beyond the understanding of the human mind. It is more about maintaining mental, emotional and spiritual well-being and achieving the highest state of consciousness. Prayers, meditation and embracing silence will only help you in achieving physical healing faster. At the cellular level, the transformation will be tremendous and will leave you rejuvenated. The impact is so much so that the entire DNA structure also under-goes healing and repair and makes you the better version of yourself.

Physical healing is often unachievable in cases when a person is too negligent about him-self or is surrounded by negativity and not so appreciated thoughts. Physical healing also cannot happen when a person is not mentally strong enough to guide himself on the right path and decide what works the best for him. It is more about making the right choices for your own betterment. If you refuse to see the good in yourself, no one else would. Only when physically you are sound, can you think of embracing the higher order that controls the mind and directs the soul. To put it in simple words, physical healing is nothing but at-taining atonement in the mortal state of our existence. It is looking beyond our general exis-tence to delve in a new universe of self-learning, self-love and self-appreciation. Achieving atonement can possibly be the major reason why people strive to attain physical healing in its purest forms.

Self-love

Self-love is the greatest kind of love. It is the first and foremost understanding of self. It is where we truly become of ourselves and give back the same respect to our mind, body and soul that they have given us since the very beginning of our existence. It is in the power of understanding the self when you can actually the outside world. All solutions to well-being begin from treating oneself right. One should be thankful for whatever one has and must not be apprehensive of what more could be. One must appreciate the whole-some experience a human is in totality and must not indulge in what could be better. You have to be your own benchmark. You have to understand what ignites you mind, body and soul. You have to find your true calling. This is where true love begins. True love is elf-actualization and realizing why you are important to yourself and your surroundings. There is nothing in the world that will appreciate your existence as much as you yourself do.

For no one can understand your emotions, thoughts, beliefs and mental understanding as much as you do for yourself. You have to clear you brains of any thoughts that hamper your personal growth, let of people who do not believe in you and your actions, surround yourself with friends and family who are truly interested in your well-being and are not just superficially connected to you. Try to collaborate with your thoughts and fins deeper mean-ing of life, far beyond the one you are leading right now. You are so much more than you can imagine. You are the hidden pool of consciousness. You were made to be a larger hu-man who is enlightened and has achieved true meaning life. Understand that each person has a different reason and purpose of existence. No one same and all our stories are differ-ent. It is only when we truly learn to appreciate our differences and our uniqueness amidst others, that we can reach complete attainment of self-love and self-appreciation.

Happiness

Happiness is a highly subjective term. The parameters of happiness may be different for different people. It is quite understandable since no two people can have the same priori-ties, choices and opinions so will their happiness differ. You as a person have to find your own source of happiness. No one can buy it for you. You have to look around and see what makes you happy and leads you to overall contentment with the surroundings. Find what makes your heart really delighted. What is it that you will never compromise for any-thing in life? There must be something. We all have that one thing that makes us go con-tent and delighted and takes us to a place where everything appears achievable and where there are no fears of losing out on anything. Our happiness is a result of positivity mixed with appreciation of whatever has been bestowed on us. Happiness can come from the very basic sight of a puppy stealthily sleeping under the blanket of the mud trying to

7

safeguard itself from the cold, happiness can be sitting in silence for a few minutes all by yourself sand any worries and tensions and it can also be the process of generating appre-ciation for others improvement and being a part of their happiness.

Happiness is of core importance and it cannot be neglected in any case. Happiness comes only when you are truly appreciative of your existence in whatever form it has been bestowed on you. It is detaching oneself from the unnecessary and forming close bonds with minimalism. You do not require fancy stuff to drive you to happiness. Happiness comes in small things around us. For those who look for happiness in materialistic things are sooner or later likely to lose track of their real purpose in life and are quite likely to re-main trapped in their incessant search for true happiness. True happiness is your door to achieving divine consciousness. It all begins from here and it will all end with you attaining peace, calm and the true state of happiness. You will be able to see astonishing changes in the way you perceive things and soon you will be able to differentiate the good from the bad and keep only those things that help you develop as a person. Do not delay your hap-piness. Find it now and under no circumstances let it go from your reach. Your happiness will guide you home and will ignite your soul.

Consciousness evolution

Consciousness evolution is the last stage of true enlightenment. Enlightenment refers to find the true purpose of existence and resonation with the energies of the universe.True consciousness is letting go of any unwanted emotion, working the best to sync all your en-ergy to develop positivity and aligning your desires with finding your true self. Conscious-ness evolution is a subtle process that requires slow and steady inputs from our ends that club to reflect a changed self. A self that is more aware, conscious and appreciative! With consciousness evolution comes deep understanding of the life around us and we learn to distinguish different elements in the surroundings and their significance to us. It is the state where we do not see undesirable in anything, but realize that may be that thing is not meant for us.

One tends to develop a whole new perspective in life and does not give into judgements or opinions. It is highest form of calling where we are driven towards higher purpose in life and not just the one to merely exist and waste our lives. We are so much more than me-chanical systems running on fuel and water doing daily activities in the most mundane way possible.Consciousness development calls for dedication, willingness to be out there and realizing that it will take way more than just a few exercises, diets and mediation to get there. These will definitely bring you closer to them but it is your own choice and dedica-tion to attain the heights of consciousness development in your system. Nothing will come to you easy. It is time intensive and requires utmost patience. But you what? When you come closer to achieving your goal, you will be filled with sudden understanding of your-

self and nothing will entice you more than the new found purpose and the new found confi-dence. Self-consciousness in no way relates to being selfish and becoming unaware of others in the surrounding. It is merely paying more attention to your awakening for the pur-pose of finding you true self. It is way to observe oneself in the closest forms possible thus generating understanding of oneself like no other. You are your own savior and your own guiding light. Do not be afraid to find out what lies beyond the ordinary. You will be amazed on how exciting finding the self can be.

Chapter 3: Major elements of the 8 Day process

Breathing

Benefits of breathing

• Helps in detoxification

Breathing exercises that function on controlled forms of inhalation and exhalation basically help in removing the various toxins in the body and help in detoxifying the body as a whole. The human body is highly dependent on breathing as a toxin release mechanism and as much as around seventy percent of it happens through the breathing process. These toxins must necessarily be exited from the body from time to time else they could be the cause of illness and ailments in the various body organs. The chief toxin removed from the body through the breathing is carbon dioxide which if remains in the blood stream can cause serious troubles. Co2 as it is commonly called is the most common toxic that finds its way outside the body through the process of exhalation.

• Eases the mind

Breathing is a natural stress buster and relieves the mind of unnecessary tension and helps in regaining composure and mental balance.

• Improves the thought process

Breathing immensely helps in attaining state of clarity and focuses our mind on the impor-tant things rather than wasting our energy on the unnecessary. Constant and rhythmical breathing brings in loads of oxygen in the body. We are all aware that oxygen is our major source of existence and a plentiful of it will serve better purpose to the mind, body and soul. The process of oxygenation that happens through inhalation brings life to the differ-ent body cells and rejuvenates them to function with their best possible ability.

• Keeps you young

10

Page 12: tmpIrSEIAkahi* Becoming Breatharian...everything made perfect sense. He knew he had found his calling. He was sure of what path to follow. He also gathered that the culture was closely

Breathing exercises are your ticket to being forever young. Since inhalation brings in oxy-gen to the body and the cells are replenished, the aging process slows down significantly and the production of anti-oxidants also reduces considerably. These anti-oxidants are pri-marily responsible for degeneration of the body cells and causing aging. Once, this is put under control, you are far from worrying about the effects of aging. More so, increased breathing controls the blood circulation in the body owing to which the skin is always youthful and radiant. Plus imagine the savings you made by not opting for expensive beauty products that do more harm than good. Breathing exercises bring beauty to your doorstep in the most natural and effective way without use of any chemicals or artificial substances thus helping to maintain beauty in its natural form.

• Helps in controlling emotions

Breathing brings you closer to your understanding of self and makes you aware of the senses working in your body. With regular breathing, you are better able to differentiate be-tween the right and wrong emotion and this is where you become careful enough to let go of unwanted and disturbing emotions. You learn to be in control of your emotions and act out only when necessary. You eventually learn not to let small things affect you and you de-velop better judgement of situations.

• The functionality of your organs increases

As discussed previously, the process of inhalation brings in oxygen to the body which acts as fuel for the cells to ensure proper functioning.

• Helps in muscle building

The increased supply of oxygen to the brain through the process of oxygenation accentu-ates the muscle building activity in the body.

• The blood quality improves

Inhalation makes the blood rich in oxygen thus making it healthy and allowing better func-tioning of the organs in the body.

• Improves the digestion system

11

Chapter 4: The 8 Day Process

The 8 day process is the brain child of Akahi who has put his deepest understandings of spiritual sciences into making a program that is so potently able to transform peoples’ lives. It is here where he combines the power of different states of love and the power of breath together to formulate a program that will accentuate spiritual understanding and ele-vate consciousness in the human mind. It makes use of the divine process of Pranic Breatharian State and aligns the mind, body and soul together.

Dr. Edith Ubuntu Chan has stated that this program is the advanced and easily understand-able self-healing program available to human kind.

Through Akahi’s efforts, the program has been able to reach close to five thousand people from 25 nations across the world. His programs are closely based on the non-necessity of food in human life and how our inner energies and driving forces are sufficient in sustain-ing us throughout lifetime. His himself has practiced the process for close to seven years and has set an example for people to follow. His basics of self-nourishment have formed the basis of the significant transformation he has undergone himself. Setting an example for himself and the world, he has been able to draw people towards adoption of the pro-gram for their own benefit and wellness.

This 8 day program will open your understanding to a newly developed intelligent way of energy and intelligence. It is a platform to bring together like minded people from all over the world to come experience holistic learning and complete transformation of their thought processes and how to listen to their real selves. This program is aimed to make people go beyond their dependency on food as a source of life and utilize their inner en-ergy to fuel their existence. This program will take beyond the mystic universal energies for nourishment, energy and information.

The basics of the programs are not just Akahi’s personal observations and findings. It is not something only he believes in. The program is extensively researched and approved by scientists in the world who themselves have been intrigued by the power of the program. Using the power of Conscious Breath Technology, the program structure is impactful enough to correct damaged DNA, generate and rejuvenate emotional, mental and physical well-being, regulate the oxygen intake in the body and align the nervous system in the best interest of the overall health of human body. The essential elements of the program will also allow you to have better control over your immune system, prevention against dis-

The Multifold Benefits of the 8-Day Process

During the ongoing stage of the 8-Day process, we basically aim to develop conscious-ness towards the impact of electromagnetic fields on our body and surroundings. Electro-magnetic fields are invisible to the human eye and can be experienced in perfect silence, stillness and the repeated patterns of the breathing mechanism. These fields are symbol-ized by the Aura, Merkaba and the Body of Light. The rhythmic breathing patterns are sym-bolic to developing consciousness of breath. The entire process brings in harmony in the neuro-cellular system freeing our systems of any kind of unwanted emotions and driving us to focus only on the important. No unsettling emotion will now be powerful enough for you to compromise with your mental and emotional well-being. Your fears will walk away from you and so will your inclination towards slight negativity in your life. You will walk to-wards a new beginning in your life leaving behind apprehensions, expectations and any-thing that deviates with your idea of peace.

When you are able to walk past your fears, apprehensions and discomforts you are able to focus on all your energy on development of consciousness in your system. This develop-ment of consciousness is a very natural process that evolves on its own and requires no external stimulation. You are taken past the idea of any kind of necessity required to sus-tain you. The necessities will no longer seem necessary. The crafted necessity to eat, drink, sleep, exist will magically take a backseat. You will be fully focused on finding what truly soothes your senses and get rid of any emotion that fails to serve purpose to you. Peace, love, harmony, will reign supreme in your priorities and nothing else will capture your emotion.

The necessities mentioned above are created by our external surroundings and so is our dependence on them. The 8 day process will take you beyond the dependence on such necessities. Do not worry about the absence of giving into these necessities sapping en-ergy from your system. You will be connected to your body on a more profound atomic level and not just superficial level. Your DNA will find itself revamped with positive energy and you will reach a different level of self-awareness. The positive results will not remain to your own self but will spread across your family, society and surroundings as a whole. Your mental, emotional, physical healing will be faster and more effective. Find below the detailed ways the 8 day process will benefit you:

• It will help you get rid of any memories that still haunt your existence and ham-per the normal functioning of your everyday life. It will teach you the art of letting go of any-

How does the process work?

Speaking of the technicalities, one first has to observe the number as the symbol of infin-ity. For those who are unaware, the symbol of infinity is the number 8 placed horizontally. Infinity is where the unknown possibilities lie. Possibilities of transformation, betterment and endless improvement! Not everything is fathomable by the humans and there is a lot that still calls for deeper understanding and involvement of the senses.

The entire process revolves around the existence of the three parts of our breathing cycle that relate to alternating breathing patterns. These breathing patterns are associated with the alignment of the senses and uplifting of mental, emotional and spiritual spirits.

• The first part corresponds to the process of exhalation and should continue for a period of 3 days. This involves rigorous exhalation and allowing oneself to fall into the si-lence of an empty mind, emotions, body and soul. It is in this silence, will you find your true calling, your true sense of self and how to embrace peace within yourself and your sur-roundings. An empty mind does not mean one sans any thoughts. An empty mind refers to an enlightened mind, one that is free from any preconceptions and is ready to embrace positivity, knowledge and development of consciousness.

• The center point of the infinity symbol is where the processes of exhalation and inhalations see across connection. This is the stage of breathlessness. This is where you experience absolute numbness, for however small duration it may be for. This is where con-sciousness strikes your mind, body and soul. This is the perfect junction of awakening to divine senses. It is where the true calling resonates with the sense of consciousness. In ab-solute silence and breathlessness lies the true picture of a perfectly balanced mind and soul. It is where your inner surroundings drive you towards a state of your own energy vor-tex. It is the cycle that goes around for two days

• The third part refers to the other half of the symbol. This circle corresponds to the absorption of all the cosmic positivity that you have been exposed to well into your sys-tem. This is the process to embrace the learnings and self-awareness you have been sub-jected to. Though, it is the last step, it is the most crucial one and undoubtedly the most defining one. Inhalation corresponds to the intake of all the positive information in your sys-tem and the seal it inside for the betterment and the possibility of a greater good for your own self. This cycle again goes on for another three days. Thus in total, all the cycles work for 8 days in totality.

These three circles symbolized by the infinity mark form the basis of the 8 day enlighten-ment process. As, we can very well see that the emphasis here is on the very basic proc-

ess of breathing that involves exhalation, breathlessness and inhalation and when they fall into perfect sync is when the true state of consciousness is achieved.

During the 8 days, Akahi will work towards making you aware of your own self and con-necting you with a higher and refined form of energy. This process will lead you towards a profound Breatharian state. The process will bring in sync your mind, body, emotions and expressions. All this happens through a combination of conscious breathing, balanced diet of fruits and vegetables along with fruit juices and blending in some fasting along with them. The whole idea is to keep the body light, balanced and focused. The whole practice will be associated with Super Sensorial Activation and imparting of Light affirmation. This is where you will be exposed to the light and information that the universe has chosen for you.

Chapter 5: The Breathing Sessions and Pranic Frequencies of the 8 Day Process

The surprisingly extraordinary power of the breath*

In the 8 years as a Conscious Pranic Breather nourishing my body 100% on Pranic-Cosmic-Nature Energy, I have developed a series of very precise breathing techniques that heal and reprogram the body to absorb light. For the participants who receive the intelli-gent energy while they are breathing, their cells will respond to that new amount of energy available and will integrate that higher energy and as a consequence will activate all the en-ergy systems of the body to the capacity to live on light.

In the next lines I share the practical essence and the instructions to use the Pranic Breath-ing Techniques while undergoing the 8 Day Process, in a new fits all version or format that makes it very easy and effortless for the body to nourish on light energy, and receive their amazing and proven benefits.

• Better and effortless breathing

• Deep Peace of mind, body, emotions and soul.

At the beginning the amazing power of the boosted energy in the body feels incredible con-nection and inner peace, and beyond anything experienced before, let your understanding dive into the energy sensation at its own time and naturally your body will get comfortable to be vibrating in high frequencies and completely energized.

Initiation into The Pranic Frequencies

In this energy channeling session we will activate the chakras and senses in the palms of both hands to perceive what I called the Pranic Frequencies, I will precisely guide you to a estate of subtle energy awareness which you will be able to feel the Pranic Field of Energy, this activation will make the non-physical energy tangible.

When the energy becomes tangible, any longer exist doubts and ideas of failure, the elec-tric current that circulates through our palms into our physical body is so powerful that we immediately feel it at the beginning a gentle self still vibration, our temperature changing and organic relaxation of old contractions in your energy systems, magnetism, are the part of the first sensations of the the Pranic Frequencies and Particles of Light flowing in through your hands and occupying every cell of the body.

1: Activation_ this activation will take only a few minutes and will be done forever.

When you are ready, stand up, take 3 deep breathes, then elevate the palm of your fully open hands to the altitude of your shoulders facing forward, like holding a ball of energy, concentrate your focus in your hands, like searching for a feeling.

2: Verify_ Begin to make slow motion circles with your right palm, like cleaning a window in circular movements, and while doing this keep your focus in your left hand fingers and palm and perceive any different sensation caused by the circular movement of your right hand, continue for one or two minutes, and then switch hands, and begin to do slow mo-tion circles with the left hand and feel what happen in your right hand.

The sensation that we are looking for is very subtle, and lighter energy feeling in the hands, heat, cold, tingling, vibration, magnetism.

Stay with the feeling, stay with the intelligent light energy and receive it into your being.

3: Receive_ Relax, expand your senses and perception and rest in the energy for as long as you want.

Then prepare to finish and reincorporate.

Very often while making the circles with the palms, we can feel also how the circular move-ment of the energy it mirrors in the other hand, like if the energy that you are manipulating with one hand is been identified by the other hand, then you will relax and let the energy flow trough your hands into your body.

The Pranic Breathing Sessions and The Energy Pranic Frequencies in your hands will ener-gize you through the 8 Days of the Process.

Chapter 6: The Art of Energy

Transformation of physical art into non-physical form

It was way back in early 2005 in the interiors of Ecuador that Akahi got to experience the enlightening practice of Temazcal. This practice is basically a kind of sweat lodge. Here a person is supposed to get into a room like setting made of mud. The use of mud is to sig-nify that the room is bringing a person closer to mother earth. It is excruciatingly hot inside the mud cabin and here one has to sit with all his energy and devotion to let go of un-wanted thoughts and focus on connecting with our mother earth. When you let go of the unnecessary thoughts, one realizes that others can be a focus of our prayers too. Sitting in the mud room, with no air and a testing atmosphere filled with uncomfortable heat, Akahi was forced to rethink over his life. The surroundings were too uncomfortable to survive. It became so trying that he felt like he would die. Yet he thought to himself that he must not give up. He assured himself that he would sit through the process and experience the brighter side of it. He began to breathe hastily for his survival.

This breath slowly became steady and increasingly conscious. It calmed him down and made him less reactive to the adverse condition. He discovered the power of correct breathing. This experience made him aware of his fears. He understood that there he needed to focus on the little things in life that are often ignored by us people. He learnt that joy is in simple things. He knew that life was way more than merely existing. There had to be a greater and more meaningful purpose in life. Those few hours inside the test-ing environment were actually indicating the prayers made for healing of mother earth. There was a whole sense of positivity and peace that prevailed. Akahi found himself in an all-together new realm of the universe. He found himself true connected to his inner self. He was on a ride of self-exploration. The prayers all-together made sense to him. The sense of giving overtook the sense of taking. Life had a new meaning and Akahi felt that he was being called for a journey into the beautiful experience called life.

Life was suddenly more appealing and inviting. He found greater peace in his existence than ever before. There was power, strength and willingness all around. In such, empow-ered conditions Akahi was a changed man, certainly for the better. Not only did he found spiritual awakening, he realized that something had changed within him physically also. He felt stronger, quieter and more relaxed. He was aware of his surroundings and was some-

how knew how to react to the suddenly discovered peace. It was all ethereal. It was liberat-ing. Nothing felt better.

After this experience, Akahi went onto live in the scenic town of Vilcabamba which is also famously known as the sacred valley of Longevity. This is the place where Akahi found his true calling of being someone who leads help groups for people. While in Vilcabamba, Akahi was staying closely with a shaman from Chile who also became one of Akahi’s cele-brated friends. The shaman used to head the functioning of one of the sweat lodges where people used to come for their spiritual and physical awakening. It was a great view for him to see people coming together for their own healing and taking back something positive from the practice.

The real turning point came when Akahi was given the opportunity to join the sweat lodge as a Fire guard. The responsibility of a fire guard was to ensure that the fire is maintained in the furnace at all times. It was a practice that required constant attention and vigil. See-ing people come there for healing themselves made Akahi a different person who finally de-cided on being a people’s healer. He decided that he would do something that helps peo-ple get out of their troubles and everyday suffering. He was assured he was supposed to be a people healer and that’s what he became.

The knowledge he gained at sweat lodge filled in great amounts of positivity in him. He de-cided to further his quest for knowledge and went onto to travel across different parts of South America. This time he made sure he spread the art of sweat lodges and the knowl-edge he imbibed through them to the people he came across in his journeys. He was in constant search, peace and tranquility and sharing his knowledge bank made it all the more meaningful to him. He was now a man on mission. His inclination in painting, theatre, performances and all such physical art was transforming into a greater form of understand-ing and was slowly becoming the non-physical art closely understood by general people as the art of healing.

By continuing his voyage though Peru, Ecuador and Bolivia and by keeping the practice of sweat lodges going, he could identify the changing lives of people. He could see the eyes of people gleaming with hope, aspiration and a new found love for their existence. In all his understanding of people across nations, one thing was common. Their lives were chang-ing for good. And all of this was coming from the powerful practice of sweat lodge cere-mony. The people were filled with hope, positivity and composure. The joy serenaded on their faces, and not even a glimpse of worry or tension was visible. Their skin glowed flaw-lessly and they all seemed so inspired and motivated. They were changed beings. They seemed more satisfied and content than ever.

All of this was equally liberating for Akahi as well since it gave him immense joy that he was the man who was instrumental in bring about peace and happiness in these people’s lives. The thought was extremely liberating that his actions and practices were actually

34

Page 36: tmpIrSEIAkahi* Becoming Breatharian...everything made perfect sense. He knew he had found his calling. He was sure of what path to follow. He also gathered that the culture was closely

making people more composed and informed about them-selves. Akahi never felt more positively proud of his actions. He himself was on a self-empowering trip where his actions more made sense to hi. He was happy, he was content and he was a more enlightened man. Association with people was bringing him closer to himself and his own understand-ing. He knew that his efforts had to dwell into a bigger picture where more people can benefit from his knowledge and understanding of finding out true purpose in life.

Akahi decided to continue travelling. Travelling to him was like a way to explore his own emotions and an opportunity to meet new people, giving him a chance to read and under-stand their minds, actions and thought processes. The travel diaries were a mix of activi-ties that centered in the giving of art lectures to students and sweat lodge ceremonies for the adults. It was all very exciting as well as knowledgeable. Akahi did not want to stop. Everyday brought in something new and challenging. It was the most empowering time of his life. The people there came putting in their entire effort in the practice, striving to gain the maximum out of it. While seeing these people make constant efforts, Akahi developed a strong sense of self consciousness. He was aware of his surroundings, his everyday practices and actions. Consciousness became really important to him and in broader terms he was actually experiencing an evolution of his own consciousness. It was a self-learning experience for him, more than what he was giving out to people. While under-standing various stages of consciousness, he developed a light state of existence. Every-thing around him had meaning. The interest in understanding consciousness brought him closer to developing the 21 day Bretharian process.

How the 21 days of living on light got Akahi’s attention

It was when Akahi was in his own house. He was working towards building an ecological house for a community. While in the process, he was visited by a woman from Argentina. She was in search for a house for herself to practice her 21 day breathing process to live on light. This whole concept was new to him and was very intriguing as well.He was in-stantly tempted to ask for the process was all about and how it helps in the betterment of self. Being a healer herself, she was more than ready to explain the process to Akahi. She told him that the whole process was about recalibrating the mind, body and soul. It was about calming down the senses and focusing on the important things in life. She said that the process brought in realization of the immense energy present in the human body and made a person conscious of using the energy in a positive way for his own good. When this energy is utilized, the need for other forms of energy gradually decreases. Say for ex-ample, by realizing the potential of this energy, a person’s dependence on food as an en-ergy source gradually decreases. All of this does not happen suddenly though. It took the lady almost two days to understand the pattern of this energy emergence in her and appre-ciate what it was doing to her body. It was a gradual understanding and required focus

and persistence in the first place. It took her almost a week to fully realize the potential of the energy developed in the system.Akahi finally seemed to have found what he was look-ing for. This is where he adopted the 21 day Bretharian process. Whatever he was looking for, was coming right at his own door. He could not have been happier. He was a satisfied man by then.

The lady, who enlightened Akahi about the process, rented a place very close to Akahi’s place. This is where she was planning to undertake her 21 day breathing process. She called another person who had undertaken the process before to come and take care of her while she was on the process. Akahi was allowed to carefully observe the everyday process and learn from the happenings. The lady went onto stay 7 days without intake of any kind of food or liquids. She then consumed only watery juices for the next 14 days. While all this was happening, and Akahi being still in his own house, he could still feel and aura of peace around those people. It was more like there was a field of positivity reflect-ing around from both of them. There was a profound calm and serenity in the atmosphere.

There was so much meaning to whatever was happening. Akahi knew he had to take up the process himself. It was his true calling. He started with a 4 day process which con-sisted of one day without any food or liquid and 3 days on a watery liquid diet and by the end of it he felt extremely pure, light, focused and liberated. His spirits were uplifted and he felt healed from within. This is where he made up his kind to undertake the 21 day proc-ess. It was a tough call for a beginner but he took the plunge because the 4 day process had brought to him tremendous results in terms of self-learning, patience and revival. It took him nearly 6 months to prepare himself for the 21 day process for he required to bring in sync his mind and body, along with the soul to combat the challenges of 21 days with-out intake of any significant external energy. In the six months preparation time, Akahi sub-jected himself to the intake of only fruits and juices. It let him adapt his body to food less in energy. By the end of 6 months in March of 2008, Akahi was completely ready to take up the 21 day breathing process. His mind, body and soul were in sync and he was emo-tionally prepared to face the obstacles a low energy diet would bring in and the subse-quent realization of the energy of the self.

As suggested by the lady, Akahi did not have any kind of food or liquid for the first seven days. For the next 14 days that followed he was on a watery diet that consisted mainly of juices. The results were spell-binding. Akahi felt a connection to his new self. The process was transformative and deeply enlightening. Akahi knew he had to make it his way of life. His senses got healed and he was again in a different realm of the universe. It all seemed sorted and simplified. The seven days without food were a real challenge. Those are the days when Akahi was forced to face his fears like that of dying due to lack of food. He had to constantly focus on his energy and ask himself whether he was afraid of dying, of whether death was more powerful that his willpower. Akahi during those seven days found answers to questions he had always wondered about. The fifth day was really tough as

Akahi began to feel deprived and malnourished. His willpower was giving up and he really had to work to keep himself in the zone.

There was detoxification happening but it was taking a huge toll on the mental and physi-cal health as well. Just by passing this threshold, Akahi knew a different experience was waiting for him on the other side of the road. He kept going. At one point he thought he could die. He again confronted the prevailing weakness by reminding himself that even if death knocks his door, he would still accept it. He appreciated in his mind the 28 years he had lived on this earth and thanked everyone who had helped him have a good life. While the body was dying, Akahi was still aware of the consciousness. He knew his soul was still alive. He also realized and life and death are all concepts in the mind. The physical body will die only of the person gives up mentally. He was way more than strong willed mentally. He knew even in adversity, nothing would happen to him as long as he has belief on his mental consciousness. Consciousness here, took a whole new meaning for him again. It improved his understanding of self yet again. He became fearless of death and other inse-curities. He knew life would never be the same again. It will just be better. There was light everywhere for him. Light in the mind, light in the heart, light in the surroundings and light in everything he saw thereafter. Lights became his guiding medium. All of this happened by the power of breathing. He found his inner voice talking to him about the importance of consciousness. It all seemed like it came from a far-fetched enlightened universe. Nothing seemed earthily like. It was all an enchanting experience. All of it came from the practice of conscious breathing.

Akahi found back his consciousness, his soul and spirit. Everything felt uplifted. His spirits and intentions were purified. He was more aware of his breathing patterns. He was on a consciousness roller coaster. He was alive again. He had defied the very idea of existing on external energy gained through food. He realized his own potential through conscious breathing patterns. His body eventually came back to life. He was still cold but he knew his body had changed. He had a physical strength that was measured not in terms of power but measured in terms of consciousness. He became truly aware of his existence in mental, physical and emotional states.

Breathing first happened to him a source of air to keep himself alive. He had to constantly ensure that enough oxygen reaches his body to keep him alive. Later it went onto becom-ing a spiritual process for him to help him stay patient and quite.Suddenly everything around him was breathing. The change in him was dramatic and sudden. He had gotten past his fears. He felt liberated. He felt safe and assured while existing as a spiritual and eternal being full of new found confidence and knowledge.

Amidst all this, Akahi was determined to continue with the next 14 days that followed. The hunger gradually disappeared and watery juices were the only source of external energy that was undertaken by him. The internal energy that surfaced in the process was the pri-

mary source of energy to feed the body and senses. It was more the whole body was be-ing regenerated in the process. It was more of a reproduction of self. There was significant weight loss which he slowly began to recover.

Akahi’s body eventually felt perfectly normal only sans the previous bad habits, thoughts and beliefs. He felt that he was being steered clear of any kind of negativity in life and that he was being driven towards a more positive lifestyle. All his past karma and illnesses had taken a backseat and he was in a perfectly happy state. The happiness was very realistic. It was evident on his face.

Akahi was a freelance visual artist and did not have to go to office on daily basis or follow a specific routine. He was free to take up his own work and do whatever his heart asked him to do. One day he could be involved in his art the next day he would choose to simply mediate or go around places. Hi wife had a similar background, so with their free time they chose to travel around Ecuador and parts of South America to meet new people who did not know them. They basically travelled to gain insights about the different thought proc-esses of the people. This is when Akahi’s wife joined him to experience the 21 day breath-ing process. She had the same beliefs and hence was equally inclined towards experienc-ing the transformation gained thorough the 21 day breathing process. They worked in sync to bring out the key points on the process and find out how that process could be made beneficial for the common public.

Chapter 6: How Akahi transformed after the experience?

Breathing has always been the major aspect of different practices around the world includ-ing that of Yoga. Preachers and practitioners have time and again utilized the power of breath to develop consciousness and transform human beings into calmer and more pro-ductive beings. After Akahi undertook the 21 day breathing process, he became a regular practitioner of breathing exercises. He would sit around with his wife with a candle lit in be-tween and they would both then practice breathing exercises. The whole experience would do much more to them than just regular intake of oxygen. Slow, steady breathing patterns would bring in tingling sensations that would eventually numb their skin and put a pause to senses. It seemed unreal in the beginning but it all brought both of them to a brighter and more informed light. There was a pulsating sensation in the mind, body and soul. They both felt they were being transported to a different land in the universe where simplicity and peace prevailed. Nothing was a happier experience. The simple act of breathing was so liberating and knowledge inducing.

With regular practice, Akahi and his wife were able to see themselves change. Their skin was getting younger and their hair shone like gold. They both started appearing youthful and their attitude towards people bacme even more welcoming and considerate. People would often stop and tell them that they looked great and more energetic than ever before. These were not mere compliments. This was in fact the truth. They both actually had changed a lot and again for the better. They began to fall in love all over again with their lives. They were happy and content and had learnt to exist with minimal requirements. For them, consciousness was of utmost importance and they had joined hands to guide peo-ple through the same path of self-love and enlightenment.

Akahi’s initial connect with Cosmic Intelligence

As the process of regular breathing practice continued, Akahi could connect with external powers who tried to communicate with him and make him more aware of the transforma-tion that were happening inside him. He welcomed such thought and contemplation with open arms and hence he was able to realize that it was for good as the external forces try-ing to communicate with him spoke of his own good. From that day onwards, he did not have a bad dream. His dreams and thoughts were aligned with positivity and he felt purer

than never before. His soul thanked him for the experience and he was headed towards a meaningful life. He kept treading the path of following the power of breathing.

Superconscious Breathing Sessions

Through constant practice Akahi was able to develop a pattern of effective breathing tech-niques. His wife Camila was largely fascinated by the transformation that came in with the regular practice of breathing patterns. So before implementing any of the patterns for the public, she volunteered to practice these exercises with Akahi and help him note the differ-ent changes that come in with them. So, Akahi began practicing these breathing patterns along with his wife and soon they reached a superconscious level of peace attainment. Their happiness knew no bounds and it was reflecting on their faces. It was after Camila practiced the sessions with Akahi that resulted in phenomenal results, was when Akahi was convinced to bring the practice out for the world to experience and benefit from it.

Chapter 7: History of Breatharianism

Breatharianism as practice is very wide and requires complete awaken consciousness from the end of the practitioner. The air we breathe is the main source of our energy. It is from here that we derive the basic elements that sum up to our existence. Our elemental state is enlightened by the air we breathe more than anything else. Time and again, spiri-tual practitioners have emphasized on the importance of listening to our breathing pat-terns and incorporating greater focus on them. Our breath is where our energy lies and by becoming conscious of our breathing patterns, we do our body a greater good.

Through his travels around the globe and understanding of various cultures and while work-ing under spiritual practitioners form different countries, Akahi was driven towards making every attempt to understand the various breathing patterns and what they do to the hu-man consciousness. Breatharian techniques are more about a way of life. They are about connecting with your spiritual self and recognizing your true potential while appreciating your existence in the human form. It is more about developing connect with your surround-ings and appreciating what you have been blessed with. Akahi preaches the appreciation of one’s surroundings and this reflects in his teaching patterns.

Jesus and his fasting ritual

Jesus was amongst the few enlightened men how realized the power of fasting and used it protect themselves against the evil of the world. Jesus took to fasting when he was being constantly tempted by Satan to adopt the evil. To keep himself off any temptation, Jesus took to 40 days of rather challenging and taxing fasting period. Scriptures have it that he ate absolutely nothing. He survived primarily on his own energy and resorted to falling into any kind of temptations. Though, it is also said that this fasting period did not merely sig-nify his ascetic practice or a self-denial mode. Rather it was the practice to awaken his true self and stay strong in front of the evil. Jesus preached that when one is fasting, he must not adopt the face of a hypocrite. Rather one should smile through the adversities thrown at him. He also said that there should be no evident difference between people who are fasting and the ones who are not. People who are fasting must not desire atten-tion of other people by portraying themselves in distress. They must ne cheerful as ever.

41

Page 43: tmpIrSEIAkahi* Becoming Breatharian...everything made perfect sense. He knew he had found his calling. He was sure of what path to follow. He also gathered that the culture was closely

According to Jesus, a person needs to make fast an enjoyable and self-correcting ritual. It must not be an imposition. As previously stated, it should open you up to a different realm of conscious awakening. Jesus urged people to not neglect their appearances while fast-ing. You must be as yourself as you are always. One must carefully dress, comb and be like normal when they are fast. No one should make out the one is off food. This is only to be known by the almighty who is omnipresent and who knows what a person actually does to get to him. Getting to know god and knowing yourself in the process doesn’t have to be hard. It is a fairly understandable concept.

Muhammad on fasting

Muhammad was another great man who enlightened the lives and minds of millions across the world. A truly learned man and the child of god himself, Muhammad was extremely gifted. He reflected a kind of ethereal purity that was hard to find in normal surroundings. His life was based on the practice of simplicity and this is what he preached all through-out. Like other spiritual souls, he also preached the development of consciousness and the process of self-attainment. He was a man of simple yet powerful words. He did actu-ally believe in the power of fasting and the amount of peace it brought to the human mind. He was once asked by one of his disciples to tell him a way to achieve ultimate peace and the highest order of enlightenment. Muhammad did not say anything complex to him. He just told the disciple to adopt fasting. He elaborated by saying that nothing in the whole wide world would be as effective as the practice of fasting. Fasting was the ultimate game changer that would bring people closer to their own selves.

Buddha and his fasting ritual

It has been long discussed in the history that Shakyamuni Buddha, the spiritual teacher, at the time after he attained the state of enlightenment, took to fasting. This was during this period of about 50 days that fasting became an important part of his daily routine. Through the practice of fasting, his main aim was to align his senses and focus his energy on the elements of his body. His aim was to direct all his energy on the one focal point in the body that awakened the real him. Through his preaching, mediation and constant questioning of the self, he attained something that most would often dream of. It took him more than just will power to get there. It was a blend of his entire energy poured into one single bowl. Fasting helped him get away from distractions and focus only on his internal energy. He utilized his internal energy for survival as well as his spiritual awakening. Buddha did not first attain spiritual awakening and then went onto fast. In fact it was a completely reverse process. He fasted for nearly 50 days and at the end of it he realized that he had become a ‘Mahabodhi’ or an awakened soul.

42

Page 44: tmpIrSEIAkahi* Becoming Breatharian...everything made perfect sense. He knew he had found his calling. He was sure of what path to follow. He also gathered that the culture was closely

It was something that came naturally to him. Only after he subjected himself to the hard-ships of the long fasting period, did he become aware of what he was capable of doing. Buddha is a very strong and generally quoted example of someone who showed mental strength and patience at every step in his life. Very few men have been able to achieve complete state of consciousness like Buddha. Buddha is a true inspiration for anyone who is looking for peace, tranquility and composure in life. True consciousness can be found in the simplest corners of the room. The need is to look a little bit harder. It is achieved only by the complete surrender of self. The one who does not fear losing anything, is the one who has truly attained consciousness. While fasting, Buddha became aware of his breath and the continuous fueling of his body from the air surrounding him is a prominent exam-ple of how a person can be appreciative of his surroundings and imbibe the best forms of spiritual, mental and physical enhancers from it. Fasting not only makes you mentally stronger, it helps you too work on less. You increasingly become aware of how blessed you are and that it is okay to not have everything in life. There is way too much of chaos around. People have more than what they require. They run after things way beyond their reach and when they fail to achieve them, it becomes the source of their lifelong misery. Half of the problems in our lives are self-inflicted. We are discontent. We complain and we compare.

Often we would do anything to prove ourselves better. But little do we realize that it only brings disappoint at our doorstep. We just remain caught up in the vicious circle of life. We fail to listen to our true calling. We become slaves to our negativities. We focus too much on others and significantly less on our own improvement. This is when things begin to fall apart. This is where we lose our rationality. This is where unconsciously we are damaging the quality of our lives. At this juncture, we are miles away from the person we actually are. We do not listen to our own selves. We see ourselves at complete failures and this is where disappointment and negativity becomes our constant companion.

Howsoever we ignore this in our day to day to day life it becomes a part of us that does not go off easily. This is where need to enlighten our consciousness and call for our true selves. There is nothing more liberating than finding out about your true self as a human being. You have to cease being selfish all the time. You have to stop questioning the bead in life. Finding the truth and ultimately your own self should be your only motive in life. This will only come when you seek enlightenment and develop consciousness of self. Breathing practices will help you a lot in this. Controlled eating and constant mediation along with a blend of breathing exercises will ensure your overall well-being. You will thank your own self. Life will be wonderful and you will be a better person. You must however be prepared to fall, fail and receive certain disappointment on the way. You would want to give up. You would feel like these practices are not for you as they are way too complex. Just hang in there. Trust yourself. You are so much more than you can imagine. Trust your gut feeling. It never lies. It never does. And it is only when you trust yourself, will you be better able to connect with your own likes and dislikes.

43

Page 45: tmpIrSEIAkahi* Becoming Breatharian...everything made perfect sense. He knew he had found his calling. He was sure of what path to follow. He also gathered that the culture was closely

Focusing here on your self does not point out towards you becoming a selfish person. It is in fact you taking yourself as priority to understand yourself better. This will only get you take simplify your life and find a better meaning to it. You will find yourself far away from complexities and confusions in life. You will be away from the drama and anyone who brings it you. You will become consciously awakened and there will be positivity surround-ing you from everywhere. Seeking spirituality is no rocket science. It is putting together of small changes in everyday life to see a miraculous change in a larger picture. Your main motive in life should be development of consciousness. This is more like what practitio-ners around the world teach to their disciples. Life is so much more than to merely exist on earth. Look at what good you can be to yourself and your surroundings as a whole. You will find true contentment, peace and self-actualization.

Like Buddha, Jesus and Muhammad, there were a whole lot of spiritual leaders who swore by the benefits of fasting. Even modern day health practitioners would not deny the bene-fits fasting has on the human body. Hippocrates, famously known as the father of modern medicine, was of a strong belief that fasting helps the body to heal itself. He believed that fasting alleviated the internal pain and accentuated the self-healing process. His views on food were that if you are feeding yourself when you are sick, you are actually increasing the intensity of your own ailment.

Here is an elaborate description on why fasting is important.

• Fasting puts your digestive system to rest and lets it recover out of the overwork-ing. This means that when you are fasting, you stomach works really less to digest the food you intake. Lesser energy utilized means greater rest to the body.

• Fasting may mean very different things across the world. Somewhere it would mean going off food, at other places it may signify surviving only on water. In countries dominated by non-vegetarian food, fasting may mean adopting purely vegetarian food for some days. Whatever it may be, it is just not about making your-self suffer. It is about mak-ing a conscious decision of being in control and leaving behind something you love or are inclined towards for a certain period of time until you learn to be in actual control of your senses.

So as we discussed the thoughts of various leaders on fasting, we must also realize that when combined with the practice of meditation and adoption of breathing exercises, the practice is all the more fruitful.

Akahi’s breatharian techniques have long been tested and have been adopted by people across the globe those who have registered deep appreciation for the practice. Here is

So this was an elaborate understanding of how the spiritual teachers around the world looked at fasting and breathing exercises as transformational processes and what made them stick to their own beliefs while sharing a profound commonality with the ideas of oth-ers. Akahi’s with his 8 days consciousness development program is trying to preach the same concepts but in a more refined and collective format. Akahi has been practicing the breatharian techniques for more than a decade now and is well aware of what works the best for a person’s conscious uplifting.
