One of our goals was the development of a line of panels with a more substantial feeling accom-panying the sole fabric finish. That is why we started carrying on researches on the polyester fiber and its combinations with other elements, trying, testing and mixing different surface treatments. We identified some interesting solutions and we started developing them in the best way to get unparalleled acoustic performances. As a consequence, we have obtained a series of “surfaces” with special, unique finishing: GARVAN MatericaCEMENT with concrete effect, and GARVAN Ma-tericaWALL with plaster effect and NCS colours. 60 degree edge cut completes our “surfaces” and
makes them lighter.
Uno degli obiettivi che ci siamo dati pensando di sviluppare una linea di pannelli era che avessero una sensazione materica perché la sola finitura in tessuto ci andava un po’ stretta. Così abbiamo iniziato a fare della ricerca sulla fibra di poliestere, sulle sue possibilità di essere abbinata ad altri elementi, individuando, testando, miscelando innumerevoli volte diversi trattamenti superficiali. Alcuni di questi erano di nostro interesse, ci soddisfacevano e da lì è iniziato lo sviluppo ad hoc per rilevare le migliori performance acustiche. Siamo così giunti ad ottenere una serie di “super-fici” con speciali finiture esclusive: GARVAN MatericaCEMENT ad effetto cemento e GARVAN MatericaWALL ad effetto intonaco con colori di riferimento da tabella NCS. Un taglio a 60 gradi
dei bordi completa le nostre “superfici” in modo da conferire più leggerezza.
L’un des objectifs pour le développement de notre ligne de panneaux était la présence d’un tou-cher matériel au lieu de la seule et simple finition du tissu. Nous avons donc commencé à fai-re des recherches sur la fibre de polyester, sur ses possibilités de combinaison avec d’autres éléments, en identifiant, en testant et en mélangeant différents traitement de surface. Après avoir identifié le traitements de nos intérêts, nous avons ensuite commencé à les développer ad hoc pour obtenir les meilleures prestations acoustiques. Nous sommes donc parvenus à obtenir une série de « surfaces » avec des finitions exclusives : GARVAN MatericaCEMENT avec effet béton et GARVAN MatericaWALL avec effet plâtre et couleurs de référence de la table NCS. Une coupe
à 60 degrés des bords complète nos « surfaces » afin de donner plus de légèreté.
Eine unserer Ziele war die Entwicklung einer Linie von Paneelen mit sowohl einer Stoffbe-schichtung als auch einem stärkeren, materiellen Gefühl. Aus diesem Grund haben wir die Polye-sterfaser weiter erforscht und immer wieder versucht, sie mit anderen Materialien zu kombinie-ren. Wir habe auch zahlreiche Oberflächenbehandlungen entwickelt, getestet und kombiniert. Wir haben einige interessante Lösungen gefunden und damit begonnen, sie so zu entwickeln, dass sie eine ausgezeichnete akustische Leistung bieten. So haben wir eine Reihe von „Oberflächen“ mit speziellen exklusiven Verzierungen erhalten: GARVAN MatericaCEMENT mit Zementeffekt und GARVAN MatericaWALL mit Gipseffekt und Referenzfarben aus der NCS-Tabelle. Wir haben unsere „Oberflächen“ mit einem 60-Grad-Kantenschnitt fertiggestellt, um sie leichter zu machen.

A finish that we developed and tested in our reverberation room, which gives our surfaces a more substantial appearance similar to con-crete, while maintaining the sound-absorbing properties of the support material.The effect is achieved thanks to the components used and the special handcraft that makes each surface unique and different from the others.
Finitura da noi sviluppata e testata nella nostra camera riverberante che conferisce alle nostre superfici un aspetto materico simile al cemen-to, mantenendo le proprietà fonoassorbenti del materiale di supporto. L’effetto è realizzato grazie ai componenti utilizzati e alla speciale lavorazio-ne manuale che rende ogni superficie diversa dall’altra.
Une finition que nous avons développée et te-stée dans notre chambre de réverbération, qui donne à nos surfaces un aspect semblable au béton, tout en conservant les propriétés d’ab-sorption acoustique du matériau de support. L’effet est obtenu grâce aux composants utilisés et au traitement manuel spécial qui rend chaque surface unique et différente.
Eine Verzierung, die wir in unserem Nachhal-lraum entwickelt und getestet haben und die unseren Oberflächen ein stärker betonähnlic-hes Aussehen verleiht und gleichzeitig die schallabsorbierenden Eigenschaften des Träg-ermaterials beibehält. Der Effekt wird dank der verwendeten Komponenten und der speziellen Handarbeit erzielt, die jede Oberfläche einzigar-tig macht.
