WBJEE - 2017 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA : Age Restriction- The lower age limit is 17 (seventeen) years as on 31.12.2017.

Requirements in terms of Residential/Domicile Criteria There is no particular

Residential/Domicile requirement to appear in the WBJEE- 2017.

However, the State (West Bengal) Residential/Domicile requirement is applicable for

admission to any Government Engineering/Technology / Pharmacy Colleges of the

State as well as for admission to any reserved category of seats in respect of any course

in any of the enlisted Universities/University Departments as well as in any Engineering /

Technology / Pharmacy Colleges of the State.

Government Engineering & Technology Colleges 100% seats in respect of all available

courses shall be admitted through the WBJEE - 2017.

Private & Self Financing Engineering & Technology Colleges- Non-Minority Institutions

90% of the Seats shall be available for admission through the WBJEE - 2017 and

remaining 10% seats shall be available for admission through the All India Engineering

Entrance Examination-2017 i.e. the JEE-Main - 2017.

Eligibility Criteria in The Qualifying Examination- Candidates should have secured

an aggregate of 45% for Gen,OBC & 40% for SC/ST in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics

in the qualifying examination (10+2).

HOW TO APPLY :Application to the WBJEE -2017 can be made On-Line only.

IMPORTANT DATES :1. Start of Online form fill-up - 05/01/2017.

2. Last date of online form fill-up including payment and downloading confirmation

page - 04/02/2017.

3. Window for correction by candidates - 06/02/17 to 08/02/17.

4. Publication of Downloadable Admit Card in www.wbjeeb.nic.in - 12/04/2017

(tentative).

5. Date of Examinations: - 23/04/2017.

Paper-I (Mathematics) 11:00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.

Paper-II (Physics & Chemistry) 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

6. Publication of Results - 05/06/2017 (tentative).
