So what’s Parkour? You haven’t heard?

Well get schooled because it’s scheduled to hit the scene, like, yesterday. This is the next big action sport, folks. Some might say Parkour is the sport of moving quickly, efficiently and acrobatically past obstacles. But it’s more than a sport. It’s a discipline really, the act of replicating how human beings were meant to interact with our environment.

Pro Parkour is taking Parkour to the professional level for the first time. We’re taking that big step into the mainstream—leaping up the scaffolding right into that limelight and blowing the world away with a showcase of the most gifted Tracers in the world. And our beginnings are bright. Pro Parkour Tracers will make their national TV debut on Jump City: Seattle on the G4 network in 2011 and will come to a sports arena near you with The Pro Parkour Series Championship, live Parkour competitions storming the nation city by city.

Tracers are all about efficiency. Every movement has a purpose, every decision is calculated. So naturally we don’t deal with silent letters. To the French, Traceurs might work, but for us it’s Tracers.

Tracer / ˈ-noun

1. A practitioner of the sport and art of Parkour; one who looks at an obstacle and sees an opportunity; a skilled runner and jumper who practices flowing through a given environment as efficiently as possible using the natural abilities of the human body and an assortment of techniques.

Pro Parkour Tracers are the most accessible pro athletes in sports. Parkour takes a sense of imagination, and a thirst for freedom and endless fun. We’re disobedient at times, yea, but we believe in respect, integrity, authenticity, health and community.

Most of all we’re true to ourselves, free from society’s boundaries and expectations.

We know what you’re thinking.“Rules? Who needs rules? Isn’t this exactly what we live to conquer as Tracers?”

Well, here’s who needs rules: pros. Behind us are the times when we made Internet videos of our friends jumping out of trees. Gone are the days we were on the run from security.

Those were our beginnings and let’s not forget them. But this is Pro Parkour. The world is watching us now. Looking to us to learn about Parkour and the philosophies behind it.

We’re pros, and pros need a code to live and work by. This Pro Parkour Code gives us a little guidance for when the lights are on, the cameras are rolling and our soles are scorching the sidewalk. It’s a pro-tocol—a Bible for our professional identity. The mass public will soon see our icon as a symbol for the greatest Parkour competition in the world. And a symbol is just a scratchmark if there aren’t rules to back it up.

Any other way would be, well, amateur.

Color Backgrounds

We won’t be contained by one set of colors. Stencil the Tag onto any kind of background color—just make sure it’s a solid color, and make sure it’s a fresh one. The format is

basic—flip it to black if you’re on a light color, and white if you’re on a dark color. Make our Tag mean or say whatever you want with a hot color of your own. Check out some

OUR INKThese colors do run. Fast. The red is for resistance to the mainstream—there are no followers in Parkour. The blue is for freedom—boundaries are nothing to us. And the green is for

rebirth, because we’re out to change the face of the earth. These colors are as solid, bold and fearless as Tracers themselves.

We don’t always have to use our Primary Colors, but they give us a place to start. The Primary Colors are only a must for the boring stuff—business cards, stationary, mailing labels,

THE NO-INK ZONEWhenever the Icon is rocking the Pro Parkour label underneath it, it’s crucial that we let it breath a little. Too much noise around it comes off as messy, which is un-pro.

To figure out the No-Ink Zone, take the height of the “P” in Pro Parkour and use it as a border around our Sign. This border is the No-Ink Zone. So don’t even think about it.
