This publication provides an overprinted DA Form a. b. The overprinted DA Form 2062 will eliminatemanual preparation of the form and will assistorganizations in inventorying and accounting forproperty as required by AR 710-2.

c. Local reproduction of the overprinted DA Form2062 is authorized. However, organizations shall com-ply with local policies in the reproduction of DA Form2062 by office copying equipment, field printing plant,or duplicating plant facilities.

3. Explanation of Blocks and Columns (DA Form2062). Refer to DA PAM 710-2-1 Chapter 6. Additionalinformation required to complete DA Form 2062 islisted below:

a. Hand receipts shall identify the accounting re-quirement status of Column C. One of the followingAccounting Requirement Codes (ARC) will apply:

(N) for Nonexpendable: Items not consumed inuse, retaining their identi-ty during use, and requir-ing that accountability bemaintained throughoutthe life of the item.

(D) for Durable: Nonconsumable compo-nents of sets, kits, outfitsand assemblages; all toolsin FSC's 5110, 5120, 5130,5133, 5136, 5140, 5180,5210, 5220 and 5280: andany other nonconsumablewith a price in excess of$50.00 not already “N”,

(X) for Expendable: Items regardless of typeclassification or price andwhich are consumed inuse. Includes all class 9repair parts. Items notconsumed in use whichcost $50.00 or less and notalready “N” or “D”.

b. Authorization documents are as follows:

(1) Components of End Item (COEI) areauthorized by the applicable Repair Parts and SpecialTools List (RPSTL).

(2) Basic Issue Items (BII) are authorized by theapplicable operator’s manual.

(3) Addtional Authorization List (AAL) itemsare authorized by appropriate MTOE, TDA, CTA, orJTA authorization documents.
